When ever we have had a backs to the wall defensive performance of late he has been in the side.
He plays better when he has defensive duties
it is a real pity he is technically limited.
His attitude is infectious it is a pity that lazy so so Imbula does not have the desire to put a shift in for the team like Diouf.

As he has won two times the ball back from Sane with a kung-fu-jump was very impressive

I love seeing Diouf on the pitch. He looks like he enjoys every second of it!

Classic Diouf last night. When it requires energy he's all over it. When it just takes a bit of restraint and composure he lets himself down. They obviously thought Sane would muck a field against him, they were wrong.

He's all courage, heart and desire. Lacks quality but I'd definitely keep him. that last ditch tackle in the box was sheer QUALITY.

Think he's got a future here as Berahino's strike partner. If Arnie had been fit last night, do you think Walters or Diouf would have started up front Trousers?

I just want to see players busting their heart out for the shirt and he is a guy who does this many times over. Tremendous spirit. All over the pitch. Proper livewire.

I still think Mame would be a very good right back! Pace, heart, strong in the air, never say die attitude and good tackles as well! Worth a try? The thing that would worry me with that is his positioning can be dreadful. He hasn't played much in that position, and in comparison even a couple of seasons ago Tottenham's Walker had big problems with his positioning too. Despite this he did OK because he could compensate so much with his speed. This season he is probably one of the better full-backs in the league! I think I can see some similarities with Mame in him, but of course everybody needs to play in a position a number of times before anybody can expect too much.

He always seems to make a positive difference when he plays so he's okay by me. Also he's got a lot of balls and goes all out which is worth a hell of a lot

He's a very limited striker but he has been successful for us and could be a lot more. If he plays up front we need to play more balls in behind the defence for him to only run on too or to put lots of crosses in because he's pretty damn decent in the air. Asking him to hold the ball up or expecting him to be able to place a shot is dumb.
Similarly if he plays in other positions we need to ensure he's got space to run in to, whilst any crosses he makes should be drilled on the floor.
Hope we keep him and look to move out Walters.
