Rumours of a £6.5m takeover bid, so they've already over-estimated.

If the Smurf gets a quarter of that, it'll be daylight robbery. Surely that's bollox right? I mean these figures are a joke, no chance 20,000 even if they were championship, I just can't see that myself 20000 a season maybe.

When you look at it unless smurf plans on selling up then establishing the worlds biggest online bookies becoming a billionaire many times over then buying the club back, for about what it was sold for followed by enveloping it into said billion pound company to allow ease of cash flow and enable interest free loans. Finally employ solid managers to push the club on by signing solid dependable players to grind results ,then start to add flair as they push on after successive promotions to the prem and decent cup runs I can't see a light at the end of the tunnel really can anyone else?

I hope S-o-T council are aware of this valuation when they set new business rates? Or are they still a registered charity or just when they play matches?

I have an idea. Vale fans want to be owned by a hedge fund, meanwhile Cov fans desperately want rid of their hedge fund owners and to be owned by a Coventry fan. This sounds like a swap deal made in heaven. A Division four heaven, admittedly.

I can't believe just how entertaining this has all become. From the other week we are having a snigger at the unwashed racing to the bottom of the league, to last week the chairman having pot shots at fans over a fans forum and then wanting to run a stay popularity poll, to leaking of highly sensitive documents. The whole club is falling apart.
It all looks like Smurf is a little bit unhinged, or is taking inspiration from Donald Trump. If only he could afford to build a wall...
I'm off to Asda I have ran out of popcorn!

Those "exclusivity fees" for the purchase of the club of which I counted 3 in the last 18 months with no ultimate sale sound like a bit of a racket, I wonder how much is typically paid?

Yes with no ultimate sale. So you collect a fee for an "exclusive" sale then get your coach to fall out with the buying consortium in such a bitter way they conlcude they simply can't do business with you and hey presto you have printed some money, repeat to fade!
