That's the spirit Smurf, keep rejecting them all the way into administration, and then carry on rejecting them.

I can't believe they never finished that stand. It must be over 10 years it's been half and half. I know they'd never fill the fucker but still...

With an ageing supporter base, few young supporters and an area struggling economically, the future doesn't look at all good? When the Vale and Stoke were founded The Potteries were booming. Even in the 1840s a German commenting on the area was amazed at the explosion of economic activity. Without an infusion of income e.g.owners, the F.A. via t.v. monies it is difficult to see a future for small clubs. I wonder if the Vale turning down Uncle Peter's offer of a ground share was, in retrospect, a wise one?

The Fail require a much smaller ground than ourselves, they should sell the piggery and build a smaller 10,000-capacity stadium more in tune with their requirements.

A Vale fan said the same on Radio Stoke. Problem is that amounts to admitting you're a small time club. Can you imagine the outrage if the Vale ground was sold to fund a new ground? And where? Burslem? Tunstall? Hanley? They could have an empty space down Campbell Road but I can't see that happening?! But you never know?

Best bit of that statement is that he received the first formal offer to buy the football club via text message. Wreaks of amateur hour

The fact that he says that he doesn't expect to hear from either party again doesn't sounds like a genuine dialogue to buy the club is really open. He has no intention to sell, so our hero is here to stay folks. Perhaps he's buoyed up by getting a larger share of the vote than Marine Le Pen?

I can't think of a suitable location, there was talk 20-odd years ago of Festival Park, where the nursing home is now.

Best bit of that statement is that he received the first formal offer to buy the football club via text message. Wreaks of amateur hour "I'm no longer the Chairman but I'm still calling all the shots". Curiously, I don't wish to be more cynical than I usually am, but if Manor and Syn' sponsor shirts, stands doesn't this bump up the price for a.n.other buyer? He's no fool, our Norman?

When you get back to your home pc, it's rude not to have another vote, switch off the router and have another one isn't it?
I love ya, Norm. Have 24% worth from me.

A Vale fan who had a lotto win at the weekend has offered to buy the club.
Imagine what he could have done if he'd got four numbers up...

This is just like the old 'Play for Your Club' days.
Come on boys and girls, time to do your bit...we're not letting up until Smurf's got a majority, 'the people have spoken' and he rides back into town on a white steed.
Smurf IN! Smurf IN! Smurf IN!
