In this day of greed and computer warriors ,SCFC have done something no other business as far has I know have done that's not to increase there entrance charge for 10years,so taking inflation in consideration they are about 10% lower. But the usual posters on here still are not happy, these so called supporters just moan for the sake of moaning, personally I think we would be better off without them ,and if they take a seat up which I am sure some don't ,they should vacate it for someone who gets behind the club. Just about to post something similar Give over the pair of you!

Just about to post something similar Give over the pair of you! Give over what my rent, council tax , food ,transport, utilities and countless other bills have risen for me over the past 10 years. Watching stoke has cost me the same price tell me what's not to be applauded about that hell free travel to away games is thrown in if I want it so I will say thank you and be thankful that it doesn't take up more of my disposable income which seems to get smaller each year

The travel is subsidised by the PL. It's good but they could do even more if they wanted to.

It was until the price of away tickets was capped at £30. Once the cap came in the subsidy by the PL was abandoned. It was the club's decision to continue with the free coach travel.

There seems to be some confusion over the part played by the PL. They put money aside (£250,000 I think) suggesting that it be used to help the away fan problem and lack of atmosphere. Not entirely altruistic as they realise how awful emotyidh away ends were looking on tv seen around the world.
We were one of very few clubs to go along with it and I don't think that any other club offered free travel for every away match.
Do let's stop the moaning. Because of the distance involved, I use it only for going to Manchester and Merseyside having paid to get to Stoke but am thankful for that. And am happy for those able to use it all of the time.

Well done Stoke. In my case (over 65) my season ticket is cheap as chips - it is the cost of the 270 mile return journey to home games which hits the pocket. I wish fuel prices had been frozen for 10 years! Average fuel prices (petrol and diesel combined) first hit the >£1.20/litre in mid 2008 LP. It the rose steadily to hit a peak of £142.5p in April 2012. So you are still paying 2008 prices for fuel. However avaerage prices across the last ten years will be higher.

I reckon that over the 10 years it would have saved me £100s if not £1000s on my trips to the Brit in that time.
