It probably would but are we even trying to get any PR out of it? Who knows but it kind of sits in with the general half arsedness off the pitch that club does. Like could it have been better to save it for a week when we have a game so questions can be asked in the press conference? Even little stuff like that could go a long way. Can always rely on you to turn a positive into a negative..... It's just another of the club not running as smoothly as it could, no should do. These little things matter.

There's no thought or reasoning behind the twenty is plenty thing, a tenner in reality would be enough with the money sloshing around. A tenner is......

You know what, I'm with Bayern on this.... There should be a bigger push to get this out there as a topic of discussion. How is it that a club "of our stature" who is trying to rise up the table is able to have a price freeze for 10 years yet other clubs have increased year on year? The club should be pushing the message that it is a club "for the fans" with these freezes (and very cheap kids season tickets!).
The West Ham comparison is not the best example as they are London based and have easier access to the national media.... although it should not be an excuse and we should be all over Sky Sports as a topic of discussion.

So, if the FSF campaign had been titled "twenty's enough" - you'd have liked it because it didn't rhyme? Oh and the word is gimmick by the way.

Nothing to stop bayern putting out his own press release to local and national media criticising the club for not reducing prices!

It's a legitimate campaign regarding the pricing out of the traditional demographic from the game. And a campaign needs to be easily communicable. What you would prefer - a far less snappy but thoroughly researched and calculated £23.47?

I wish my grandkids would stop getting older. Next season they'll all be in in the under 17 bracket. But seriously, this is once again a brilliant gesture from the club whatever the moaners have to say. Well done, and it is appreciated by the overwhelming majority of our fans! OS.

Brilliant, both the season cards and the free away coaches. Should be better publicized? Sorry but I can't do more. I tell everyone I come into contact with about our super deals and most ask why their club can't do the same.
Just wonder how much publicizing the moaners on this subject do? Not good enough. Get your larynx going and shout it aloud!
Agree with Lakeland Potter, of course about the price of petrol and rail tickets. 360 mile return costs a bit much and the 500 mile plus, for the more northern outposts not much fun either. But Stoke City is my club of 70yrs and I wouldn't swap 'em. Come on the lads.

In 10 years vat and inflation have gone up. In real terms we've had a reduction. For me it's £443 for two just about £40 per month on finance.
It's brilliant

I wouldn't argue with 30. In reality I'm not arsed because it doesn't affect me. But there's nothing stopping them from making it a tenner. I think with the product on offer 30 quid is about right but if people want it cheaper then why stop at 20?

It amazes me how everyone thinks the club is handing out charity by freezing the prices. Freezing prices is the minimum they should do. If they went up it would be scandalous, given all the money the club now makes from being in the Prem.
The players, the manager, the owners and management are all rich beyond their wildest dreams. I don't say that in a bitter and twisted way. It's just a matter of fact.
An average season ticket costs around £400. Our first team players earn that in about 10 minutes. It's a weekly wage to some in this area.
It amazes me how much we've lost touch with reality now that we're drowning in waves of cash since the TV deals went crazy.
They could give tickets away and it wouldn't make much difference to the club in the grand scheme of things. They could certainly reduce prices without it hurting them, whilst massively helping the fans.
We've been duped into thinking we're getting a great deal in this country.
You can get a season ticket at Bayern Munich for around £100!! Even cheaper at Barcelona.
The average matchday ticket in the bundlesliga is just over 20 quid. It'd around 50 quid in England.
We're the richest league in the world and yet we charge our fans the most.
And we've somehow managed to do it and convince the fans to rejoice about it.
Unbelievable.

How about scrapping ST's and have a payment on results on the way out? £30 for a win £20 score draw £10 no score draw Nowt for a loss. Oh, and £50 regardless of score for anyone leaving before 90 mins.
