Tried just about everything else even spurned the obvious selection of him whilst Arnie was suspended just before Xmas he has the maturity - the 'nouse' and the legs to get up and down and affect the game - that much is obvious and - featured quite a bit in the AFCON whilst showing maturity and usefulness way beyond his years Meanwhile in his absence, we try Ngoy who is plainly, light years off a regular start in the premier league (imho) I for one will be bloody disappointed if Ramadan is not slotted straight into our first eleven this Saturday not difficult this -- is it ? He's earned one now, for sure, Tone!

He played well but still he has much better than that. I noticed when he played for Eygypt he looked more confident, trying things. For us, so far, he has been safety first, but that's ok. The more safe games he has the more his confidence will grow. He's an impressive young man, you must be very proud.

Got to start next game off the back of that. Very very solid. He's very similar to Arnie: fast and tricky yet strong and physical.

I was really impressed with his defensive work. Could be turned into a wing-back.

Best part for me is how deceptively strong he is, bullies players and guards the ball so well
Has to play from now on

Just got back in from work. All well and good, but did he stand on the ball?

Thought he started poorly but when he collected that pass from whelan and took off down the wing, it gave him confidence.
If anything he's a bit too defensive but that's a part of the game.

Both are OK, I think Sobhi is better Arabic is different, for example my name can be written Hesham , Hisham or Hicham Btw here we say Ramadan neither Sobhi nor Sobhy.

MOTM for me closely followed by Bruno.
We look so much better with two wingers on the pitch.

Well done son !!!!
I really liked the 'switched wingers' - too - worked a treat
(been wanting to see that much more often)
Arnie Right, Sobhi left - looked very decent
And Ramadan showed real passion and desire
going forwards and back
never gave up anything
and made us all proud today !!!!
( my MOM today - then again, I would say that wouldnt I )

Excellent today. Just hope Hughes doesn't suck all the momentum out of him. He's too good for a team as slow as we were. Sitting on a one goal lead again FFS.

Got to keep his place now with Shaq moving to the N.10 spot as soon as he's fit.
Having a bit of muscle on the wings is a good idea if we're going to start introducing Berahino into the side at some point.

He's got great football intelligence at such a young age. He doesn't seem rushed or panicked and also didn't try too much which would have been all too easy for him at this point. I'm all up for him having more time but also think he shouldn't start every game from this one performance. Just hope we give him time and space to flourish here.
