Also why on earth do Stoke fans see Pulis as the only viable option to join Stoke? There are thousands of managers all over the world, many with great pedigree and a trophy cabinet to back it up. We are a rich club in world football, if we want a big dog in charge we could have one. Westwood is available

We'll he's not looking at Sunderland reserves anymore. Not doing too bad either if you look at the table. Scored more than us and conceded less. Without berahino. Don't worry the second half of the season hasn't started yet. Give it a few weeks and 40 points will be mentioned followed by parking the bus and shitting himself. They won't get top 10, it's all about survival. At least you can see what TP is trying to do He's trying to get them to be effective at scoring from and defending set pieces And he's trying to get them to defend as a team I have no idea what Hughes is trying to do? I am not even sure he does??

We were a project when we arrived in the premiership, the aim was to stay in the league and establish ourselves at all costs. Pulis didn't budge with it or get carried away which led to the success of it. Now we are in a position to get him the chadli's, Rondon's, fletchers & Schniderlin's

Also I'd take Rondon whose scored 1 in 3 for West Brom. Fletcher and Chadli? Barely gets the pulse racing and wouldn't be particularly excited if they joined Stoke, i'd hope for better. The other hasn't even signed.

It's honestly cringeworthy, we still have a large section of support who still want us to be underdogs in every game we play. Who wants slow, ineffective players playing week in week out as they're the good guys. Tbh i'd rather not look at about 80% of S-o-T it's suffering about 50 years of decay. I mean we celebrated the fact that a film company used Hanley bus station as a scene in a zombie apocalypse film.

Anyway, back to our midfield! Anymore players that float our boats? Misfits at big clubs, decent players at smaller clubs? Home grown or someone from Europe? Throw some names about!

Absolutely, I won't put it past him though to pull it off I wish he had done back then what he is doing now, he has made some very good signings and hate to say it but he is doing a great job, although the baggies fans still don't like him and have shown this on match days. At the moment we seem years behind WBA(well that's how it feels) and to think 18 months ago it felt the other way around!

Can't you be gracious enough to compliment two players in particular who have more than justified their transfer fees and have continued to "eclipse" by performances and attitude their so called replacements. Instead of sniping at every opportunity why not target those professionals or so called professionals who are paid handsomely to develop and progress a squad to such a level that your continued condemnation would be irrelevant.. Simply start a new crusade

They were wanting him out a few months ago because the football was god awful, he's having his yearly little spell now before it all goes back to normal and the baggies fans will soon be booing again.
They're 2 points ahead of us, it's not what I call being years behind.

The midfield is overloaded. Whelan, Imbula, Shaqiri, Bojan, Affelay, Ireland, Sobhi, Arnie, Cameron, Allen, Walters and now Diouf and Pieters. Some rank Muniesa as a midfielder.
With five goalies in the squad behind them who the hell are they supposed to pass to?

He's also organised, every player knows their job, ours don't know what we're doing from one game to the next. You only realise just how good pulis is tactically and at defending attacking set pieces when you see how we fair with it these days. Pulis builds slow, safety first until he's got the players he thinks he needs to be a bit more daring. Really it's the way it should be, get the defence right and build from the back in stages, he's bang on the money imo. Afterall saying he doesn't look up tables is stretching the truth a bit because we won automatic promotion from the league below so he must of looked up the table.

So some of you genuinely think that Joe Allen is the problem in our midfield? I don't mean sound like the kind of arse hole who kicks off on a full pub, but Joe Allen is definitely not the problem in our midfield. He's been our best player in 80% of the games he's played in at least!

He's been our best player in 80% of the games he's played in at least! You have to look at the bigger picture. Joe Allen for the most part has played very well which makes it harder to see. We bought him due to having a good Euros but we never needed him, we were overloaded in this area and it certainly was one of our strongest areas. Buying Allen neglected the areas that are actually an issue, right sides midfield, defensive midfield and an actual forward on the up not on the decline. Our argument is not that Allen was a waste of money but it was the wrong investment and the team looks completely unbalanced because of it. Also as much as I like Allen he lacks the link up play his role demands. You can't drop him because he's playing well so that means we show horn him in. We bought him for the Whelan role like we did Imbula but now we realise he can't play it.

Did you watch us in our promotion season he shat himself then too and we limped over the line. You're part right he does safety first only its followed by safety first, followed by safety first. He destroys the game because he's too scared to try to play it and thats exactly the trap Hughes is falling into as well, granted he isn't very good at it.
