I thought we were supposed to be playing them next season? We will if we get docked 127 points for some administrative misdemeanor. It could still happen. I bet they've got somebody lined up already like Gary Rowett or Alan Pardew. Just the sorts to awaken the sleeping giant.

I hope he managed to leave with some dignity - a quality that will be in very short supply at a club that seems to be being run in a bizarre manner from the very top.

I'm 99.9% certain that Benjaminbiscuit mentioned that it was a very real possibility earlier in the season.

Perhaps as the font of all bullshit Benji could take it on himself.

Smurf hired him partly because of his connections with managers like Mourinho, Karanka and Carvajal.
He based his transfer policy on that.
Lol

When the main man considers it appropriate to run an organisation via twitter you have to think things are going one way and one way only!

When the main man considers it appropriate to run an organisation via twitter you have to think things are going one way and one way only! We can hope that they fall into even more of a shambolic disarray and ultimately disappear like Stockport/Tranmere and many others. Never to reappear. They didn't even have any hot food for the catering today. The "total Porto Valiente football experience" (how not to run a football club). Stadium tours coming soon....

Too bad that Allardyce has just gone Palarse!!!! Just thinking the same. If only he'd waited a week he could have gone from the Wembley of the south to the Wembley of the north.

Can't find a pic online but Smurf has a plaque for his parking space which has a picture of a Smurf on it.
The man is completely off his rocker.
