Wouldn't hold my breath. Ample opportunity to use him thus far and hasn't been used.

For me tonight typified why Hughes isn't the man to take us to the next level if there is such a thing. He simply doesn't build vibrant mobile teams who play with zip and pace and will always favour experience over youth. Great point though but very negative team selection.

Diouf then Ramadan for me don't see the point in using the youth from the start versus Leicester. Still think he needs half an appearance to get used to his defensive duties. He should feature definitely now that Arnie is out.

Tonight is the performance you choose to highlight what you think is wrong with our approach? Give it a rest, mate.

The reckless eejit. I for one am clamouring for Ramadan but I still trust in Hughes to know quite a bit more bout football management than i do. It's a tough league and you need to fight

I am taking anything away from tonights magnificent rearguard action just that perhaps we lack a zip about our play and he seems not to see the value of pacey players

He'll be lucky to get on the bench, unfortunately. No doubt it'll be Diouf filling in for Arnie

Easy solution to the Diouf or Ramadan question. Play both Diouf and Ramadan and drop Shaqiri, who currently doesn't merit a starting role. QED.

It probably is. But I think he'll start Diouf there on Saturday.

I was thinking the same thing myself - although I don't think it will happen. There is a good case for starting both Diouf and Ramadan, though. Both are strong defensively (or so it looks in the brief chances Ramadan has had) and whilst Ramadan doesn't have Diouf's pace, he is very strong on the ball - pace and strength are attributes which could be useful against Leicester.

If it's a choice between Diouf or Ramadan, then of course it should be Diouf. He's been brilliant recently.
I'd play them both however with Ramadan on the wing and Mame upfront instead of SJW, who I thought was poor yesterday albeit in difficult circumstances.
Diouf deserves a run of games in my opinion.

Got to be Diouf up top and Ramadan on the wing.

He should feature definitely now that Arnie is out. Got to be honest, my recollection is when he was picked to start against West Ham he was thorough, borderline excellent in looking after his defensive duties. I even heard the west Ham fans saying what a good player on the way home.
