Friday 6th January West Ham V Man City BBC
Saturday 7th January Man United V Reading BT Preston V Arsenal BT
Sunday 8th January Liverpool V Plymouth / Newport BT Tottenham V Aston Villa BBC
Monday 9th January Cambridge V Leeds BT
some awful picks. The BBC's picks are terrible, who's that interested in Tottenham V Aston Villa?

Shock horror.
Some of the biggest clubs in the country and world are on telly in the 3rd round of the FA cup.
We have this same shit every round. Get over it,it's all about viewing figures.

Get over it,it's all about viewing figures. this is overdoing it though. They always used to have at least one potential shock tie on the BBC/ITV, whether it was Cambridge V Man United or Exeter V Liverpool. No offence but tottenham V Aston Villa is not that.

Are there any glamour ties like that in the draw? no, the closest is Preston v Arsenal (which should be on BBC) but the BBC talk about the magic of the cup so much they should make an effort to put games on where there are shocks to be had, such as Bolton v Palace, Millwall V Bournemouth, Sutton V Wimbledon, Barrow v Rochdale, etc

The draw in general was a load of crap for interesting ties/upset potential.

If so it is a mystery why they didn't choose Preston v Arsenal.

Cambridge v leeds a good call for TV, and about the only one, Can accept preston v Arsenal too.
At least one of the others should have been Sutton or Barrow or both, and no way the Man utd/Spurs games should be on
Tbh the rest of the draw is pretty poor, Blackpool at home to Barnsley could have been another.

Its time the FA grew some balls and force the TV companies to include at least 2/3 ties which include non-league or league 2 teams so ensuring the lower league teams get the TV money the likes of Manure Arse etc clearly don't need.............but of course they won't so we will continue to endure shite ties like Manure v Reading

Sponsors pull the strings mate ....they want their product given the biggest audience and maximum exposure which means Manchester United, Liverpool, etc etc which makes a mockery of it The magic for me disappeared when they issued every clubs number prior to the draw and took off the radio for the bollocks we now see on a Monday evening
