Is not even considered them doing a Leeds Leeds was a different story. Their problem there was that they saw themselves as this sleeping giant on the edge of becoming one of the european greats and spent stupid money to maintain the delusion. Leicester's owners (like most of their fans) know where they are at. Every sane fan knows that if you are outside the the "big" 5/6 there's a reasonable chance you will go down if things don't go to plan. Leicester are a decent side with a good manager having a bad run and have a major distraction. On the whole they aren't deluded and have a good enough squad to stay up. Doesn't mean they can't go down, just don't think they will. This is absolutely it. They are having a bad spell. They have an experienced manager who will guide them through it. They will finish in the top half. Most Leicester fans know this. Very few are calling for Ranieri to go.

Can someone explain the difference between average and bang average? I take it there isn't one? Anyway Ranieri is not an average manager however his CV is full of ups and downs. Leicester should be doing better than they are but no more than top ten, and a run in the Champions League, should be expected either. Bang Average is what you say when you mean shit but would look a bit silly if you said so. Also gives wiggle room if the person you are talking about turns out to do a good job. Well, there's been one particular player who I feel we've missed a lot - summer signing Nampalys Mendy who is a CDM/CM. He looked quite promising in his debut but since then this injury he's had has kept him out for months. He will certainly give us another dimension and option in the centre of the park, I like the look of him and his style of play. So that's one player who has barely played for you. Who are the others? Schmeichel? 1 point in 4 games since he's been out. Before that 5 points from 4 games with the defeat coming at Chelsea. So that's 2 (and we know from how wank we were without Butland that keepers are vital.

Currently losing 2-0 against fellow strugglers (ish) Southampton, Still in FA Cup, Still in Europe, just not firing...Could they be in trouble, or will they survive by virtue of the fact that there is so much shit below them, though Swansea seem to still want to fight for it...

Yes. Would you take winning the Premier followed by relegation in back to back seasons? Over let's say Top 4 followed by staying up?

Those going down will be any three from the current bottom four.
Leicester are flirting with danger a bit, but they are actually struggling to be shit enough to go down, so poor are those four bottom teams.

They wont go down. But, they're lucky there's 3 shitter sides than them in all respect. Sunderland Hull Swansea Maybe even Boro. Otherwise, they'd probably be chest high in the shit right now.

This came up a few months ago. I don't get why you wouldn't want him sacked if it carried on? He's gone back to the Ranieri that we all loved and took the piss out of. He looks like a little boy lost at the moment.

No they won't go down. This is a normal Lester season. BUT Ranieri should retire at the end of the season.

Oh and they're in the knockouts of the Champions League after topping their group and they won the fucking league last year but you're right, he should be sacked for half a seasons poor form. Fucking christ.

Sweet, the modern football fan. How do a provincial English football club upgrade from the World Manager of the Year?

Fucking christ. Oh I know but it's a feeble attempt in the league and I think they are in danger of relegation tbh. They've got 2 massive games coming up to determine if they definitely are or if they're definitely not. We could have got through that group tbf in the Champions League. He should be scrutinised for sure and their drop in form merits a debate of getting a new man in I think. But let's be honest I think it's just a case of an average/poor manager reverting to type and his average/poor players doing the same. Danny Simpson is barely a Championship right back, Wes Morgan is a good Championship player, Schmeichel has way too many clangers in him, Drinkwater is a lower Premier League player and Vardy is average. Take the omnipresence of Kante out of that little lot and you're going to struggle.

They are similar in some ways to Chelsea the season after they won the title.
Vardy, Huth and Morgan probably aren't up for it as they normally were last season. You can understand they are going for the Champions League but they've got to sort them selves out for the league.

I said on a post last year. "Check where they will be this time next season and that's why I'd rather be in our position than there's." Hope they go down.

Last season they went down to the cross-roads and sold their souls to the Dark Lord of Sliced Potato Snacks. This year, His Supreme Salt & Vinegar Eminence is demanding recompense.
Either that or they were warned that their dietary supplements were no longer as easy to disguise as last year so they switched back to Lucozade and oranges.

Chelsea will win the league this year. The shit will win it next year. This will make everybody happy. Before Lester turned over the billionaire apple cart everyone was always pleased with it. They used to rejoice about the same wealthy demagogues winning it all the time so now a breath of relief can be sighed.
Here's to the zeitgeist.
