Why can't we win yet still be able to judge players?
Just a quick stat brought up after the west ham v arsenal game:
Pass accuracy:
Ozil. 96% Xhaka. 90%
Oh and if you think well that's arsenal:
Fletcher for west ham 91%.
68%? That should be a weeks wage fine!

Charlie Adam's biggest pro is also his biggest con. He has incredible vision on a football pitch and will attempt outrageous shots/passes that sometimes come off, or like today, doesn't quite work out. There were times today where he should have just kept it simple rather than over complicate things. Still, thought he was alright though. This completely, i imagine his pass completion was down today as he continually tries things other players don't even see, his vision is leaps and bounds ahead of most players. Two first time passes down the line to Arnautivic and a first time flick round the corner to Shaqiri opened Burnley up three times. It is horses four courses though, against a team who we a clearly better than Adam's vision is priceless as the risk reward is so much in our favour. Times he should have kept it simple which i am sure Whelan would have done but against them today absolutely no issues with a 68% pass completion when trying the passes he does.

You know what you're getting and it depends what you want doesn't it. His passing was incredibly sloppy today but he was still involved in two of the most memorable pieces of play of the day. I'd imagine he'll get the hook next week with Whelan seemingly fit and Arsenal rampant but he'd play in the next two home games for me without a second thought.

Just to prove your talking bollocks, his passing accuracy today was 68.3% according to Opta. So you weren't just a little bit wrong.... That's a pretty poor stat mate. In the first 20 minutes of the game Charlie's passing was absolutely shocking - really, any neutral would have seen it that way. I never suggested he had a great game, just that he was solid if unspectacular, worked his socks off and did a decent job for us overall. I'm far from his biggest fan, but think he's done reasonably well over the last two games and doesn't deserve some of the flack he's coming in for today.
