Oh the Irony! Haha exactly, this disagreeing to be cool act is ruining this board. Adam's ability to drag games forward his range of passing, vision and shooting ability means he is always heavily involved. Adam may not be the perfect athlete but to argue his ability or the way he attempts to dictate games is one of the maddest things you have said. (And on a talking bollocks scale you are off the charts) Disagreeing to be cool? I absolutely loathe the way Charlie Adam plays football and always have done (well documented on here from his Blackpool days). His passing is hit and miss and he loses the ball way too often and easily. And he shoots all of the time even when it's not on. I wish it was just to be cool but I will spending 90 minutes calling him all the names under the sun. And I'd rather watch a player I enjoy watching.

I can see a lot of people on this board don't rate Charlie as highly as I do, but if you can't see his contribution to the team since his inclusion, well I'm not sure it would be wise of me to say what I think about that. In the Bmouth game he wasn't that good and the same could be said about most of our players, but in the other three games he has been close to outstanding in my opinion. To drop him today would really not be fair after his performances. I really rate Glen, but I don't think he should go straight back after Charlie's and Imbula's performances at Watford! Charlie is an exciting player and almost always something spetacular happens when he is on the pitch too!

Don't be stupid, the bloke deserves another year! And as for the go away Hughes, you would love that wouldn't you?
He doesn't at all. He's an average footballer who is a poor professional. He gives the ball way too much and isn't fit. The old guard need shipping out. Yes. He's not taking us forward and keeping these older players around who do nothing won't help with that view. When I was driving down for the Bournemouth game 2 weeks ago Nigel Johnson said on air he would shout it from the rooftops about what a professional Charlie Adam is. He said his performances in the JPT supporting the youngsters and nurturing through games was a sight to see. I never saw any of the games but our Nige couldn't speak highly enough of charlie

I'm sure that you being the decent, well rounded, knowledgeable person you are, would appreciate 10 minutes alone with Adam to get your point across. As you say it's much easier to be the font of knowledge when you know they can't hear you.

Another top performance from the ' Walking yellow card, Defensive liability, blows out of his arse after 30 minutes pub footballer' The usual detractors are conspicuous in their lack of praise for a quality footballer once again. I guess they will be back sadly. He played well against Watford, but one good game doesn't make up for all the shit performances he's put out.

Ricky, that's exactly my view of SJW and Glenda but a lot of people think the opposite.

He does seem to be good like that. It's more the being a fat bastard I was on about. What an outright stupid comment! Why? He waddled around the pitch when he does attempt to move. He's been fit for 3months at this club. And he looked way better for it.

Usually unfit, always looking for the hollywood pass, walking yellow card. When it comes off people will praise him and act as if he should start regularly, but he doesn't do it often enough and most of the time he's just a burden for the team. His position needs discipline.

Charlie ran that game entirely to his satisfaction - his experience and know how was there for all to admire.

His pass completion was 6%. What a shocking performance again. He wouldn't even be on the bench for me.

I thought he had another decent game today. Worked his bollocks off, was desciplined and linked defense with attack very well. Solid and unspectacular, but effective.
