It's easy to say he has a classy left foot ( he has) And it's easy to say he's not the quickest ( he isn't) But I love his attitude...basically it's we will take no nonsense from this lot, let's make things happen... Win, loose or draw, good days and bad. It's the right attitude to have :-)

He was just interviewed by Radio Stoke. Said he'd given his shirt after the match to a young Watford fan who he'd hit with the ball in the warm up. Answers the question of who he went over to at the end. Got a very good reception from the Watford fans for that

Another top performance from the ' Walking yellow card, Defensive liability, blows out of his arse after 30 minutes pub footballer' The usual detractors are conspicuous in their lack of praise for a quality footballer once again. I guess they will be back sadly.

I slated him last week, happy to be proved wrong this week, as I said earlier it's his inconsistency that grinds my gears

Would be in the Scotland team but for the clown in charge! It's absolutely baffling how Charlie Adam doesn't make the Scotland team. More baffling that Strachan the clown is still in charge.

An impressive performance from Charlie. He has the ability to bounce back after a poor match, like the one against Bournemouth. I really like him as a player.

Chucker was tremendous along with Imbula.
I find some of the stick he's had (more on Twitter to be fair) to be an absolute fucking embarrassment to our fan base.
Yes he can be frustrating at times and tries the ridiculous but he's a very decent player who has overall been a good signing for us.

I noticed a big change in his conditioning in the pre-season game in Florida. He played 90 minutes in 100 degrees heat and 90% humidity. Believe me, it was bloody hot.

I guess they will be back sadly. He is visibly fitter this season though and his fitness issues in the past were fair game. What's also fair game is to highlight his improvement this season. He was always a grinder in that he would cover a fair amount of ground but this season he seems to be a lot sharper over the first 10 yards than he's ever been since he's been here. It's showing.

He has been with us 4 years now. That's a fair old while these days. Especially when he hasn't always been a guaranteed starter.

To be fair it's not a place where you expect Charlie to be, more likely waiting to hit one from outside the box The fact that our players kept interchanging worked well

Well worth the £4m outlay and then some.
That being said I'm unsure about an extension...but that's dependent on squad role I guess.

He certainly deserves an extension! Charlie has been fantastic in 3 of the 4 games he has played since returning to the starting lineup! No big problems with injuries either and still not that old, good decision by Hughes!

Go away Hughes.

He doesn't at all. He's an average footballer who is a poor professional. He gives the ball way too much and isn't fit. The old guard need shipping out. Yes. He's not taking us forward and keeping these older players around who do nothing won't help with that view.

Nah. I've never liked Adam and how he attempts to play football. He's just awful. As for Hughes he lost the plot about 11 Months ago. Oh the Irony! Haha exactly, this disagreeing to be cool act is ruining this board. Adam's ability to drag games forward his range of passing, vision and shooting ability means he is always heavily involved. Adam may not be the perfect athlete but to argue his ability or the way he attempts to dictate games is one of the maddest things you have said. (And on a talking bollocks scale you are off the charts)
