It implies nothing on my behalf. but replacing one dictatorship with another equally as bad is not progress. And that can be said for many countries all over the world.

I'm not saying it implies anything on your behalf mate. It affects the west's standing in the world when we demand human rights action against repressive dictatorships that say things we don't like - whilst defending repressive dictatorships that agree with us.

We could also add, suppression of political opponents, no free speech or free press, suppression of the Catholic Church (Christmas was banned for 30 years). Many Cubans year after year fled the country to the United States. It wasn't a utopian picnic in Cuba, and I don't think anyone who extolled his virtues would live under a dictatorship.

Agreed this is obviously where Trump has lost support from the left, persecution and murder is fine as long as it comes with free healthcare. I'm on a phone or i'd try and find the tweet from the cuban women living in America whose grandmother cried when she went into a supermarket in the US as she'd never seen so much food as they still have food rationing after 50 years, a socialist dream just like venezula where people had to break into zoos to get something to eat recently.

Just for you, FYD...
Jeremy Corbyn has hailed Fidel Castro as a “champion of social justice”, following the announcement of the former Cuban leader’s death.
The Labour leader admitted to “flaws” in the revolutionary leader’s long rule over the Caribbean island, but praised him as a “huge figure of modern history”.
Mr Corbyn said: “Fidel Castro’s death marks the passing of a huge figure of modern history, national independence and 20th century socialism.
“From building a world class health and education system, to Cuba’s record of international solidarity abroad, Castro’s achievements were many.
“For all his flaws, Castro’s support for Angola played a crucial role in bringing an end to Apartheid in South Africa, and he will be remembered both as an internationalist and a champion of social justice.”

Ancient history. Don't you remember how we dealt with HIV sufferers. We put them in quarantine & blokes in space suits worked on'em. & now we're bombing the £@#& out of the world with remote control plains. We even had to change the law to allow us to do it & not be accused of assassination. Polarisation

Deeply flawed. I wouldt expect anything less from terrorist supporting red jezza

Do you think North Koreans living in North Korea will celebrate Fat Boys death when it happens? Of course they wont, they'll be too fucking scared, but the lucky ones who've escaped will celebrate it, just like the lucky Cubans have done over Castro.
