Best wishes and hope you get better as soon as possible. The key is not to try to rush things even when you are feeling a little better but let things develop and improve naturally to maximise you recovery.
Hope to see you on the Oatie again and let's all hope that you can get down to the Bet365 in the near future.
Chin up mate !!

So sorry to hear of your illness UKC Stokie. You will have to be very patient during your recovery and it will no doubt test your fortitude to it's limits. However given time, and a lot of hard work on your part, i am sure you will be where you want to be in due course. Gooarrrnnn!

So, am I OK now? No. Sadly a long way off, but I am far far better than back in June when I had my stroke.
So that you are aware: after I had the stroke (when they said I wouldn’t make it) and left sided brain surgery (boy this is a laugh on this thread isn’t it?). Reading and writing (aphasia) is now a very long journey to follow – but I am getting there – slowly.
I’m now starting (slowly) to look at the Oatcake occasionally. I watch a lot of football (thanks Kodi which I have retaught myself again) and cricket (it’s far easier watching sport or old TV as I’m still slow). I’m (of course!) watching Stoke – and will be going to my first Stoke game for over a year. My Dad is taking me to the Arsenal game (and my Brother is kindly loaning me to his season ticket so I can see the game – cheers mate!)
Anyway, I will post updates on how I’m getting on - if people would like? Also, I’d like to say thanks to bigjohnritchie and mermaidsal (I will email you soon – sorry – I am so slow!) Thanks again fellow Stokies – it really does help me friends.
