Not if the linesman is the one who flagged for the foul he would go from where the linesman called the offence True, we don't know at what point the linesman started wave his flag. He'd have had to have been lighting to do it before it got into the box though! My view from the back row of block 21 probably discounts me from calling where it was as per in and outside, however i could probably do better than oliver.

I thought the elbow/arm by Llorente was a shocker too.
He proper did him there and knew exactly what he was doing.
Taylor's was as easy a booking as you'll see.

“I have spoken to a couple of guys who have spoken to Michael and he has acknowledged that he may well have made a mistake. From Sparkys post match interview on the official site re Arnie All a bit late now though eh? Never a foul, never mind a yellow in a million years, absolutely no need to get a card out. Pathetic. The upcoming ban is Arnies fault at the end of the day for yawping at officials too many times this season.

Early on taylor goes through back of Shaq with what is a booking all day long even in the old days. No booking just a talking to. 5 minutes later Shaq departs injured. Arnie wins ball cleanly in his only tackle of the game. Oliver is no more than 2 yards away. Foul and a booking. Arnie suspended for west ham. What is it with this incompetent wanker? Fucking Oliver. I wanted to kill him for a few minutes. Wonder if geoff123 can defend that? Fuck! West Ham is a huge game and missing Arnie is a major blow for us

As much as the opposition these-days
yep, 11 against 11 plus, 4 match officials - seems de riguer
yep we got away with a penno but, for the rest of the match
its just a recurring theme
SO
conspiracy or sheer incompetence - I cannot decide
but its definitely one - or the other or perhaps even - a bit of both
and, for the spineless jellyfish running the line oposite block 29
congrats mate - you were pretty much the worst sorry example of spineless uselessness I think I've ever seen
and cluelessness personified - he hadnt got a fucking clue - all night long !
and this is not sour grapes - its after we won !!!!

How the hell did we get two bookings from half the fouls committed by Swansea? Arnie clearly gets the ball, the trajectory after the tackle proves it. Still he's a Stoke player. Yellow it is then. Swansea player lunges badly at Shaqiri, not for the first time. This time puts Shaw out of the game so has to have been a dangerous foul. Result? A pat on the Arse. FFS.

The ref was a joke, not just for us but for both sides, It was defo a pen, easy inside the box, the lines man said it was 100% outside the box when it clearly wasn't. How many fouls in the first half and no yellows. One thing a can say,at least he was consistent, consistently shit.

I didn't think it was that bad, sure they made some errors, some against us, some for us. Didn't effect the result.

I know it doesn't tell the whole story but Swansea commited 14 fouls last night which resulted in 0 cards, Stoke's 7 fouls? 2 cards!

Arnie was superb tonight, he really was.
His interplay with Allen was fantastic.
Just a terrible decision all around, and tarnished a very good night.
We can still beat West Ham, but our task is much tougher now.
And if that is a yellow, we may as well turn the lights off. It's goodnight to football.

Sky have just said that Oliver admitted he got Arnies booking wrong So why can't the FA act on this? I can't recall a situation where a ref actually states that the yellow was a mistake?

Eric got away with murder last night but having watched that dirty grub Taylor go through Shaq and a couple of others I can't just recall I was more than happy with the non-peno (although it was a penalty all night long).
