His hold up play and link up play has been spot on since game one. I know a few doubted him due to his lack of goals but his all round play was always there for me, and it was always a matter of the first goal opening the floodgates.
That will be the springboard for him. Proper goalscoring instinct on display. The final piece of the jigsaw 👍

Really pleased for Bony M tonight. Let's just hope this is the springboard for the rest of the season.

We were better at getting bodies around him today. The link up play was much improved.

He fits us like a glove.

Anyone else? I've being saying for weeks I'll bring in my team if Rashford doesn't score or assist. Instead I've bottled it and tonight it's bitten my on the arse haha!

Anyone else? In my team too, but didn't have the confidence to make him captain. That honor went to Wee Joe, and he continues to rack up the points!

The difference between the two sides today. Bloody brilliant poaching.

You can't teach those instincts. 1st one is great poaching, he knows Allen is shooting and is on his toes. The second one is a cracking header but he's again in space and reacting to it.

For any FIFA players this could be the 4th consecutive week that a Stoke player gets an inform card. Arnautovic, Allen, Shaqiri, Bony (possibly)

I am so pleased that he broke his duck tonight, you can see he oozes quality in the way he holds the ball up, he has great strength and awareness of what is going on around him and I am sure we will now see him shine.
My only disappointment was that he was subbed, because he looked so up for it tonight.

Is there a chance we can sign him permanently?
We really need to.

Is there a chance we can sign him permanently? We really need to. Definitely. It's crazy to think we could have and may still end up with Berahinho who isn't a patch on Bony. Let's not hope he has too great of a loan or he'll be wanted by better clubs than us.

I'm going to be a total knob and say I actually didn't think he played all that well, generally speaking anyway. However, he took both his goals very well and that will breed confidence into his game. Double figures come the end of the season?

He keeps so many balls in the front, which is much more important than many people think - Diouf, Joselu, Crouch or Walters are far away from his abilities in this matter

His all round play wasn't as good as it has been for the past few games. But he still scored 2 and had other chances which is good to see.

It was arguably one of his poorer all round displays but he got the goals he desperately needed. Onwards and upwards from here for him. Hope to god we can get him permanently.

Said the same myself, not his best game, but class always shows through and his positional play was excellent...Johnny on the spot!
