The thing with Benji is he isn't trolling he genuinely anticipates the worst possible outcomes pretty much all the time.
You could argue that's the result of decades of being a Stoke fan but given we haven't had a relegation since 1998 and not had a bad season for at least ten years (and that wasn't bad really it was just painfully dull) you have to wonder when the penny will drop that we are a good club.

Still seems to be a feeling he'll be off in January - to Man City or Juventus

Does the opinion of Bumper Graham of the Daily Record carry much weight in transfer dealings between Sevilla and Juventus?

Kinda bugs me that he could go to MCFC if I am honest!

Still thinks it's nzonzis agent trying a move again. Man city were supposed to be after him when he left us but chose Fabian stealth instead of paying 7m. I believe it when someone stumps up 20 odd million and he is a consistent starter in citehs team.

To be honest he was pretty average In his first season , a right Mardy twat at that thinking he was much better than Stoke , good luck to him if he gets his move but we will get better than him

On a serious note - him with Arnie, Shaq, Bojan, Aff or Imbula and Allen
I think he would have helped develop Imbula no end
What a cracking player he is

Probably the only player we have had in recent times (Butland may add to the list) worthy of consideration by the very top clubs. Big question would be if his rather fragile mentality can cope with being a small fish in a big pool. I miss not being able to watch him.

You have to admire his ambition. He took a pay cut because he wanted to play against Messi and Ronaldo -- and he has done really, really well! It's great credit to Stoke City actually, and TP.

Had absolutely zero interest from the top premier league clubs when he was here (or Blackburn) think the slower pace of Spanish football suits him better.

Maybe so , I wasn't really narrowing the phrase top clubs to just England. Juventus are quoted as being interested and they are a top club by whatever definition you want to use. It's also the case that he is a much better player now than he was in his Blackburn days.

Fabian stealth they thought was a better option. Think it was the sideways passing that put them off.
