With them shipping goals would expect Phelan to try and shut up shop. As such our fullback might find themselves with time to attack.
We have a great record over the years there.
Got to be looking for a win.
I think Swansea at home will be harder though.

Onto Hull now. If Bournemouth can put 6 past them we should be able to get a couple

We on an upward curve, unbeaten in the last three games, with the team cohering quickly. Hull are not that good, desperately scratching around, wondering where that good start went. So it's all set up for a Hull win

Could be an interesting game. If we get an early goal I could see there heads going down. Hopefully Bards will be fit for this one. Any news on him yet?

So what are we all thinking? I'm thinking the same team will play as did last week (deservedly so, why change a winning team) we've looked a lot more solid ever since that West Brom game we should have won.
A team getting stronger every week vs a team in the same position we were in after the Palace game.
My head is saying 1-1 as they will demand a reaction but i think we are capable of getting a 1 or 2 nil* win, especially with them having Robertson out who is one of their better players.
*prediction entirely based on the premise that Meyler wont be a sh*thouse and get our centre halves sent off

They've just been battered by an average Bournemouth side. Has to be demoralising. Need to start aggressively, take the game to them. If we start well and get an early goal, goodness knows what the score could be. Potentially we could destroy this side.
If we allow them to build confidence and grow into the game it could be very difficult.
Gonna say 0-3 Stoke

Totally agree, cant help but see the similarities between this game for them and our game at homw vs the baggies. If we'd have gone 1 down to them there was the potential for the crowd to turn and the feel amongst supporters to become extremely worrying, which transfers to the players.
But we came through that and should've won, we need to go there and have plenty of the ball early on and their crowd will turn. they're only expecting 19,000...
We need to sell out and make some noise and take this run of 6 games by the scruff of the neck.

2-2 draw written all over it. We will take an early 2-0 lead dominating in all areas. They will sneak one just before half time then batter us in the second half and grab a late equaliser.

sold West Ham out already too, i guess the new stadium factor has helped that. This game should be good and we stand a good chance we should be selling out

I think we could win comfortably. I also think Bony could score. Then again, I'm usually completely wrong

I think it'll be tight. Last weeks battering won't help us and they will have worked hard on defensive shape and marking. We need to be at them from the off and pressure them. I'll go for 1-1.

Hull City striker Dieumerci Mbokani, 30, will not play again for a month because of a torn hamstring.(Hull Daily Mail)
Hull are set to give a debut to 17-year-old Josh Tymon - an academy player earning £160 a week - against Stoke on Saturday. (Sun)
If it's as bad as above then 2-0 Stoke More likely 1-1

Hull City striker Dieumerci Mbokani, 30, will not play again for a month because of a torn hamstring.(Hull Daily Mail) Hull are set to give a debut to 17-year-old Josh Tymon - an academy player earning £160 a week - against Stoke on Saturday. (Sun) If it's as bad as above then 2-0 Stoke More likely 1-1 Tymon has received positives for his Cup appearances {last season}, and England attention. No matter, as you rightly infer their already thin squad is further depleted. I'm sure Robertson will be a massive miss in defence. There is of course the possibility that players in a 'scratch' team have a lot to prove and a place to win. Can sometimes bring out performances. Always rated Sean Maloney, on the wane perhaps but I remember him destroying us when he played for Wigan. Dangerous from set pieces etc. Shame about Johnson and hope Bardsley's fit to step in otherwise it's a head scratcher. I reckon our attack will be too much for them. I think we'll reverse the LCup result. It'll be interesting to see if Hughes chooses to tighten up like recently or play with more abandon like he usually does away. Quite liked how we set up against them in that match. A tweaked and more attacking 433. Grant Johnson Shawcross Bruno Pieters Cameron Allen Imbula Arnautovic Bony Sobhi
Charlie for Imbula, Diouf for Bony. Hopefully Bardsley for Johnson and a front three of Shaq, Bony, Arnie. Looking forward to it.

I'll go 1-2, Arnie and Bony...
