Once he gets a proper run in the team, he'll become undroppable. Shame the ACN is right in the middle of this season.

Remember the days when Pulis was slated for not giving young players a chance? *WinkyFace* At the end of the day football managers, who have a short shelf life anyway, aren't going to gamble their career (especially when the team is totally out of form) on young players. I'm not saying that's right, but that's the way it is! To say Pulis never gave youth a chance is bollocks. He gave Lewis Buxton and that other kid, Anthony Pulis was it??? their time in the spotlight.

But back on topic, Sobhi has already played a full domestic season + continental cup matches. He might just be showing signs of lethargy in training.
Far more likely than the paranoid arsewash expressed elsewhere in this thread.

What Sparky needs to realise is we've got three extremely talented young players in Sobhi, Verlinden and Ngoy who have specifically come here instead of bigger clubs because they thought they would get game time. And if they don't start getting it, we won't keep them long. Never seen the u21's. Do you estimate Verlinden and N'Goy offer more than Walters already? I think Sobhi does from the one match I have seen of him.

But anyways, to your point, Saturday's premier league match would be a at a far higher tempo than today's u23 game (where also as you point out, he has had an extra 48 hours rest). I'm done with this thread now.

My biggest worry is if Shaqiri picks up a knock and has to come off. There is literally nobody on the bench who can play on the wing. i always knew we should have kept hold of Shotts

He should have been on the bench and that he wasn't and is playing so shortly after we were lied to is a steaming pile of horseshit. Open your eyes.

When the person deciding how "spot on" you've been is yourself the statement offers little substance. Email Hughes see if he responds, your blood pressure will thank you for it......

I have to say I thought you were talking out of your anus on this one. It now seems it was a tactical or trust issue from Hughes. Staggering when you look at Saturdays bench and the fitness concerns out wide. Absolutely staggering.

Ready in a couple of years being the bit that stuck with me. It's just the same old same old.

Sorry if already mentioned, but where was Sobhi yesterday At home! Very strange as he didn't make the bench. He must be thinking after Wednesday what he has to do to even make the squad My guess he's thinking I need to get fitter for a high intensity PL game when I've struggled to last the pace in a game played at walking pace. It's open season on the Manager, I get that, but the level of 'making shit up' is currently running at Olympic standard.
