Which of the goals was his fault? The one that Allen failed to track or the one Indy let run off him? Perhaps those 2 were the ones who actually couldnt be bothered to track or show any urgency? Where did I say that any of the goals were his fault? I was there and don't think he showed any lack of urgency. What makes you think he did?

Bad luck?
Now I know how West Ham must have felt at our place last season.
We rode our luck that day in what should have been another thrapping.

I don't agree with all this "Hughes has got one game left" stuff, tonight wasn't his fault, he fielded a decent team, and did the best he could as a manager - We performed better than recent games and positives can be taken. We were undone by bad luck and not being able to take our chances, but I think it was more bad luck. Seems like we've been having bad luck for months Indeed. Who was it who said "The more I practice the luckier I get"? You make your luck on the training ground, a well-drilled team who all know exactly what their roll is, discipline, shape. That way you tend to be "lucky" enough not to concede 2 sloppy goals at home against a reserve team....

We have had a lot of luck this season, we were lucky that the Mancs and Spurs were only playing in 3rd. gear. We were lucky, when we got an easy draw in the 2nd. round of the L/Cup. We were lucky to get a point in our 1st.game this season. We were lucky only to lose 1-0 at Everton. We are lucky we have 33 games left to sort it out.
