dominated possession no luck in front of goal. no surprise when we get sucker punched. ffs just seen the goal, the ref blows for a foul the ball runs to a hull player who takes the free kick TEN YARDS IN FRONT OF WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN!!! why did the ref allow that?? we are seriously out of luck at the moment.still I will be there on Saturday in a positive mood.

If only we could score from corners
Sounds like we dominated but can't score
Getting fed up of us being "unlucky"
Last few minutes of first half , last minute of second half; we just lose concentration or put another way we just lose.

The insanity was playing the team he did and mortgaging Saturday for tonight Losing is no big issue but selection was naive and poorly judged in the extreme .
For all sorts of reasons I prey we destroy that shit on Saturday but I fear as I've said since the summer this will be the game that finishes this management team .

Better performance, same bad result. If I had to choose one game to win this week, I'd choose Saturday. Let's hope the good bits of tonight get carried into Saturday, including a start for Ramadan. We simply have to tighten up at the back though. Agree. If we lose Saturday, I'd say Hughes is gone. Agreed.

According to Radio Stoke two defensive lapses, not taking chances and pointless passing, sounds about right.
Business end not good enough, Didnt deserve to win the game...

Last seasons bad start saw us finish 9th? Decent performance tonight with two weakened teams and it could/should have been over by half time. No need to panic, this is a mickey mouse competition.
Hughsie needs to have the xmas party this Friday night.

I don't think Hughes can be blamed. It sounded like a good performance but couldn't take the chances. The players must wonder where to bloody well turn after that. Hughes too, but he'd better get his bloody rallying cry ready as it could be his last. Lose at home to the Baggies and PC may have his hand forced although I doubt it. The only saving grace about tonight is that it wasn't a League game.

Against a second string Hull team, giving away 2 more soft goals? Not good enough. To be fair the goals weren't soft. Were you fucking there the second goal was school boy defending.

The performance makes no difference if we can't get the win. This will if anything hurt us even more because now the players will lose even more confidence. We were all over them for the entire 90 mins & had a number of good chances to take the lead but we squandered & allowed them to pick us out. There's only so much a manager can do, ultimately it's the players who've got to perform & take the chances that they create. But that being said I think it's very much possible that Hughes has now got just one last game to save his job, there seems to be no way out of this rot we're in & something has to change.

Our team must rank amongst the most unlucky ever !!
Still if Hughes takes his lessons from this game then there is still hope
This season is all about staying in the EPL now
If we do succeed in that mission then we can build on all we have for next season
This year is survival year
Onwards and upwards as from next season
