No decent manager would want Stoke on his CV at this moment in time. Mancini is out of our league and the only domestic manager available is Steve Bruce.

It's got to be a foreign manager methinks. All the good British managers have jobs, Coates will not go for a lower league manager, he runs a betting firm, so wont take the risk.

Wouldn't anyone be interested in trying lure Martin O'Neil back into club football???
Me personally, I know I'd find him a good appointment!!!

Louis Van Gaal for me. I feel we need the sort of maniac who'd blow up a man's fishpond after a poor performance. Man U treated him really shitty. He has a point to prove. Definitely not finished. The last time his stock was low he went to AZ and won the Eredivisie, the Dutch equivalent of winning the Prem with Leicester. He has a glittering CV of improbable achievements and more trophies to his name than anyone else we could feasibly get. It's a no-brainer for me, assuming he'd want to come.

I have a mate who supports Huddersfield and he was very impressed with Wagner last season, when he transformed them from likely relegation candidates and has carried on their form into this season. Heard an interview with him and was very impressed, speaks good English , I believe he was Klopp's No 2 at Borrusia Dortmond. Yeah but why would he leave them now for Stoke He turned Huddersfied's season round much later than this and has been said bigger club , bigger budget.

Talk of Pulis is utterly insane. I'll defend his overall record to the hilt but the water under the bridge would suggest stoke fan on stoke fan violence and that's horrible.
We are 'lil old Stoke but the promotion for a Rowett or even Dyche is massive. We're full of internationals for good sides. Something they've never encountered.
We have to give Hughes a month before the button is pressed, at the very least, to sound out some plausible names if nothing else.

Can anyone name a manager that could take a collection of good players who ship four goals on a regular basis? As much as we'd like can anyone think if the perfect man for the job for the rest of the season? I'll give you a Clue - his team if he's in charge will beat Stoke for the umpteenth Time by one goal

Martin Jol would at least play Sobhi!Although Roy Keane would probably frighten the fuckin daylights out of these lily livered wankers. Which is probably what is required with some of them.

Gary Rowett.
Got the ball rolling at Burton and is working wonders at Brum with next to no cash.
Let's make the move now before someone else does.
Can't help but think it will be Steve Bruce though, he seems to fit the Coates criteria perfectly. He'd keep us up but probably take us down next season.

I like Hughes but the situation is of his own making and even if we pull ourselves out of this slump, his name will be dirt with some on here. His arse will be ridden red raw for even the smallest transgression going forward and the trust will be gone. AVB for me if push came to shove. Which I suspect it will do sadly. Anyone think Steve Bould would/ could do the job? He seems to have sorted a lot of the defensive frailties at Arse. Can't see Dyche/ Rowett doing anything different with a largely foreign contingent and I'm not entirely sure they would command the respect from them, like Hughes does/ did.

No one has given any reason why Anthony Richard Pulis is not our next manager other than he repeatedly humiliated them after they foretold doom in his previous reigns.
We should be on our knees praying for him to return.
Even binary football is better than this tip tap garbage.
