I was quite surprised she was allowed to get in so many punches without interruption They weren't punches but lies, disinformation and hypocrisy! I'll give you just one:the lady complains about deaths from gun violence in Chicago. True! But the gun lobby is pouring millions of dollars into the campaign to help elect Republicans who oppose gun control! Errrr Nick, read your first sentence again. To Paraphrase - She's telling lies - I'll give you one - complains about gun violence - True! (errr in other words it's not a lie but I'll say it is anyway) - then go on to talk about the issue of gun control which has nothing to do with what the lady said.

In what way are they biased? The B.B.C. are clearly biased! They fail to mention all the wonderful things about 'The Donald' i.e. all the years he didn't pay federal taxes, the several times he's gone bankrupt, the very large numbers of women claiming assault, his insults regarding women, minorities, the disabled et al. You would think 'Auntie' would reprise all these marvellous things about "I'm the only man who can save America!". What have I told you about smoking crack before coming on here Nicholas? We're trying to debate the issues of our time and you're buzzing your tits off and writing posts like that.

It must be difficult for people to connect with Hilary Clinton. She just talks to the crowd with no emotion. Trump is more of a character and you do get absorbed listening to him. I know he talks shit, but he is engaging which Hilary is not. She should win and unfortunately she is the best option, but Trump is definitely in with a shout.

Wonder if the Dollar spikes like it did before the referendum. I think if hillary is still favourite as the votes are being counted it could.

Apparently yesterday, on the stump,'The Donald' claimed he had been voted Man of the Year in Michigan! Huffington Post has spent hours checking his story but there is no such title. The man is a proven, serial, compulsive liar! No, I can't stand this asshole!

I see that NATO are massing 300,000 troops ready for if Hillary wins. Do the right thing American people, vote Trump so that we don't have WWIII against Russia. Is this like that time the American army was "massing" on the border of Texas and Obama built all those underground tunnels from Walmarts to death camps where he was gonna send all the conservatives?

Surely there are enough sensible people in the USA to get out there and ensure that the dangerous, arrogant, divisive, spoiled, bigoted and not too bright individual loses ?
To call him a buffoon is wrong, it implies he is harmless, he's got this close - and it's frankly disturbing.

No, far more complicated than rocket science. There is a very valid school of thought that maintains that criminals and gangs will continue to obtain illegal guns while gun control simply takes guns out of the hands of normal citizens, therefore emboldening criminals with guns and in fact increasing gun related fatalities. In other words, you are less likely to nuke Russia, if you know that Russia is ready to nuke you back!

Huffington Post has spent hours checking his story but there is no such title. The man is a proven, serial, compulsive liar! No, I can't stand this asshole! Huffington post is so left wing biased, they probably would report it as a lie if Trump said "i'm not tired".

Which is an damning indictment on a truly awful Hillary! How many people in America, and all they can come up with is these two old duffers? I predict neither will see out a full term. 'Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow!' If it wasn't so serious it would be funny!

The thing is with him people listen to him. You could see people going out of their way to vote for him. I don't think people would do the same for Hillary, you would probably just not bother vote for either. Her inability to make people believe her could play into trumps hands. It could be a good watch tonight.

My bodyclock's all out of kilter just now so I expect I'll be up with the Beeb for a couple of hours at least.
Has Vine got some more baffling graphics for us this time? I thought I was bloody hallucinating Referendum night!

As an American who teaches Civics, my stomach is sick watching this whole thing unfold.... As stated before, it is rediculous that as a country of 320 million, these are the best two that we can come up with. I have said I would never vote for either at different points.. Voted for Hillary simply because Trump would destroy every foreign relationship that we have. As a father of a daughter with special needs, I cringe at the thought that our next president publicly mocked a journalist with special needs. As a husband, I cringe at a President that has bragged about assaulting women. As a teacher of kids from other countries, I cringe at the thought of them having a President they feel doesn't want them. As a law abiding citizen, I cringe at having a President that has broken laws.. A bad night for my country, no matter the outcome.

Feel a bit sick myself. It's too close for comfort for my taste. Ideology lite populism in the Trump mould is bad news for everyone. Expectations are encouraged that can never realistically be fulfilled.

The markets are taking a beating so far with worse likely to come tomorrow - though I don't think the FTSE has gone spectacularly overboard on a presumed Clinton win. £1 might reach towards $1.28 - $1.29 tomorrow if Trump wins.
