Utter disgrace from CEO manager and the players except Allan Contemptible in ever aspect of the game Why don't I ever see you on here when we smash a few good goals past a team and pick up 3 points? There's a lot of people on here that constantly slate the club then come on here when we drop points and seem to enjoy it. Don't understand it. We didn't deserve to be on the end of a 4-1 defeat. 2-1 probably would have been fair. You keep banging on about the CEO as well. Given the way you spell, your punctuation and structuring of sentences I'd be surprised if you knew what CEO stood for

Oh look, another one who'll not offer an opinion, think he's superior and just abuses people... I am far superior to you. Since you are so keen on opinion, let me give my opinion on you... You stink up this message board with your constant negative drivel and get mad when you are called out on it... It's funny how you demand opinions, but only want to hear your own. I only want to here my opinion.. I've asked you numerous times to offer yours, you still haven't. All I've said is the defence is a shambles, which is completely fine on a message board. It's realy pathetic that you think that your superior to people on a message board.

Score flattered Man City slightly but they were definitely better than us. Allen and Sobhi look good. Bojan and Imbula disappointed. Diouf awol Bardsley did well. Overall we should finish 9th. But how much more excited would be have been if we'd have started with Phil Jones and Saido Berahino instead of Wolly and Diouf? GET THE CHEQUE BOOK OUT NOW I think it may be Ryan who is dropped, you can't really have a go at Wolly he has been the better of the two if you are really honest with yourself Both looked a bit iffy

Second, nothing wrong with saying your opinion on the Defence of any other part of the team, however I reacted to your post calling everyone who calls out negativity a 'cunt'. When you see posters talking about us being a relegation team etc, I give them my opinion... of them! As for the game, we were much better in the 2nd half, I thought Diouf should of scored and Ryan's penalty was a give away and stupid, really impressed with Joe Allen, he was active and I thought his corners were decent. The score line is a bastard, but doesn't reflect the game as a whole for me... Onwards and upwards.

And you need to see a psycho presto I repeat presto you are dangerous to the community you live in Cuckoo cuckoo Stay in your own country![/quote] How predictable...the weak amongst us revert to throwing insults after a defeat. We are all Stoke fans. We all feel utterly gutted after waiting all week for the game. We lost. They were the better team. They will spank the arses of many a team this year. The scoreline flattered them. Our second half performance was decent. We will get better! We are still only a couple of tweaks away from being a very good side. As good as any Stoke team since the mid 70s. Take a deep breath and just think about that for a minute...

As for me telling him to stay in his own country, it is tongue in cheek and he knows it, he is from Malta and hates being reminded of the fact.

Looking on the brighter side, I've found a blackberry bush at the back of the Mitch car park. I'm doing to this bush what Man City just did to Stoke.

Issues in the team haven't been addressed at all, woeful in defence and attack. The bright side is Allen was superb and City will be a lot of teams by 4 or 5 this season

Score flattered Man City slightly but they were definitely better than us. Totally agreeAllen and Sobhi look good. I thought Allen was brilliant for a full debut.Bojan and Imbula disappointed. Agreed but I thought the team actually played worse when Imbula went offDiouf awol Very sad but trueBardsley did well. AgreedOverall we should finish 9th. No, with Jack back, a quality CB, Muni for Pieters, and a goal scoring striker we can still get to 8th. But how much more excited would be have been if we'd have started with Phil Jones and Saido Berahino instead of Wolly and Diouf? GET THE CHEQUE BOOK OUT NOW There are lot of hysterical posts on this board. People should realise who we were up against. Stones alone cost nearly £50m. We got Allen and I know Stoke did the better deal.

I agree second half our attacking play was quicker with more intent. All I was concerned with today is our defence who've seemingly Havnt learnt a thing from last season. You're not Superior to anyone on this board sweetie.

One good thing from this match, Joe Allen is a great signing (so was Arnie)
Ramadan made an interesting start

We were alright. We had some bad luck with the Joe Allen penalty that wasn't and then got suckered as we pushed forward to try and get something out of the game. This is Man City, I was half expecting a whipping. As it is, they won fair and square, but 4-1 flattered them.

Lost to a good side today, no issues were exposed that weren't already obvious though
No lack of effort today, no one threw the towel in. For me Aguero is heads & shoulders best striker in this league and Top 3 in the world. man City will do someone 6 or 7-0 this season. At least it wasn't us.
Ryan concerns me a bit and I still feel we struggle to create clear cut chances but its early days yet. As long as we make a couple of astute signings before deadline day then I'm optimistic. I'll be concerned if we don't.

Impressed with Allen, Wollscheid and Ramadan today and thats about it. Also can we please rename this thread to the Mike Dean show thread as its a much more suitable name.

Think we were decent today But the Quality Gap...Is Massive. And so is the financial clout / net spend
We shouldn't be judging ourselves against this level of team
If & when we are regularly losing home games to the likes of Hull, Burnley & Sunderland then its a different state of affairs
Like I said, Ive no doubt that Man City will smash someone maybe even an 8 or 9 nil
Our season hinges on the teams around us, not above

.....Unfortunately it's not Kasper Schmeichel

I'd start Sohbi next week because we need someone to get down the wing and put in some crosses. I don't care how old he is - George Best started for the Shit when he was 16 for crying out loud. What harm will it do? The only thing about his age is he's too young to know he's supposed to be nervous.

This game was 2-1 really, as we could have settled for that at 85 minutes. But our team kept going because they have pride and are good players and still thought they could get the equaliser. An equaliser we should have had when Allen was fouled in the box.
So stop whinging. I think we are starting brighter than last year, even if we didn't get the points.
Remember, Hull beat Leicester and Burnley beat Liverpool. Stoke are doing ok thank you.
So...
If Shaq is out next week I'd like to see Sobhi on the left wing and Arnie up front.

Don't forget Citeh beat Steaua Bucharest 5-0 away in the week and missed two pennos. That was a Champions league match. Steaua would have been up for that but Citeh swept them aside. It will take a lot to stop them this season. So I'm not to downbeat ...
