Mark Carney the Governor at the Bank of England trying to calm the waters. We should give him a knighthood and tell him to keep this shit coming challengingThese things always hit those in debt and least able to afford another recession hardest.

Over the past few days I've seen a number of those who support brexit attempt to justify the decline in our economic situation because (and I'm paraphrasing here) "it's not all down to brexit and and it was going to happen anyway"
Carney's comments are interesting because he acknowledges that economically things were on a downward trend before brexit, however he believes that brexit is adding to the problems we were already facing. It's like a fire that's in danger of getting out of control and, rather than concentrate our efforts on extinguishing it, we've added more fuel to the fire.

After Brexit, they have put a veto in too stop trade for pizza's & cornetto's, were fucked, but at least we might stop turning into fat bastards, thus less weight on the NHS, for treating obesity & diabetes, oh hang on if this saves the NHS millions of pounds, leaving really would be worth it.

But, but, but....the FTSE100 has risen? That proves it was all scare tactics according to most.
UK exposed stocks are getting hammered.
The pound is close to it's lowest ever levels.
Pension funds are getting decimated. Multiple property funds are suspending withdrawals.

The brexit boys clinging to the FTSE 100 like a life raft sound like the man in hospital who on being told his legs have been amputated is then reassured with the good news that his slippers fit the man in the next bed. It's a fuck up, we know that much, what can be done about I have no idea and I suspect nor does anyone else. Boris and Farrage are both off in a cloud of cats piss. At least Gove has had the decency to stick about I suppose but he was a stand up comic in an earlier life.

Better to struggle through it now, rather than when the EU collapses. It won't be forever. I can't understand why people want to be governed by a european parliment anyway.

Because they have their own agendas and don't care how much shit happens as long as they are proved right. They simply can't accept the vote. We need to be positive and accept the many challenges that come our way. Some people will never let it go. Absolutely bizarre.

The eu have been, and are heading in a very dark place ....We will be stronger for what we've done in the end. People looking for every little "told you so" moment is just silly. Positivity and calmness is what is needed from everyone.

Theres a lot of work ahead but at the end it the country will be all the better for it. Could you imagine what these fools would be like if the chips were really down. They would have all been saying if only we'd of listened to that Mr Chamberlain in 1940. I think theres a strong correlation between PHW's and remainiacs.

You cannot avoid economic reality, the die has been cast since 2008 and all the Keynesian tricks it the world cannot stop the inevitable correction that is needed, will brexit be the catalyst for it ? maybe, but nobody can say it was the cause of our problems by a long shot!
If you can blame all economic problems from here on out on Brexit, then can we, retrospectively, blame every economic disasters pre june 2016 on us being a part of the european union ?

Like that's what's going to happen. Some people need to really get to grips with the difference between 'free movement' and working or travelling abroad.

Youre not going to suggest that there isn't significant pressure on all of those by the sheer amount of people coming into the country?!!
