first season - up and down -married in the summer
some great performances - some awful ones too
but massive potential - as good as Steven Nzonzi ?
-with the right handling and coaching - could be even better
looking forward to watching him next season

The questions are does Bojan get in his way, they can't play in the same team can they? More importantly, can Whelan or his replacement pick up his slack?

I'm a massive N'Zonzi fan but Imbula will easily surpass him

My only worries - very one sided, (left sided) needs coaching out of him and
holding onto the ball a bit too much sometimes - (maybe its just a 'adjusting to the premier league' thing)
Southampton had that well sussed if you recall
but when he decides he can literally, walk through another team all by himself, when he chooses - he showed us that too)
massive potential though

The lads got bags of talent. Just down to Leslie and the coaching staff to find him the right position and guide him through it.

Think it's harsh to say he's been up and down. He might have had an off game or two but not a prolonged "down" period. I think he will be a very very good player for us

N'zonzi was our best player both in Pulis' last season and 2014-15, and a massive loss when we had to sell him. However, I believe Imbula is already more of an impact player for us than Steven. Imbula's one-footedness isn't a problem as he is very good at using his arms to keep players far enough away to play the ball with his stronger and more accurate foot. N'Zonzi was/is better defensively, but Imbula is a way more acute attacking threat.

I can't wait to see him play again.

Last summer Wollscheid came back having noticeably bulked up and also had got a clearer understanding of English football. This resulted in a much improved player (I know he still had some issues) compared to his previous six months. If Imbula can approach the season this way we have one he'll of a player.
