Who do you fancy? Runners-up in England's group face runners-up in the Portugal group, but seems rather complex for the Group B winners should England beat Slovakia. It'd be a 3rd place team, but working out exactly which one seems to be a bit fiddly. Seems almost certain it'd be Switzerland, Romania, Czech Rep. or Croatia. TelegraphPrecisely who each group winner plays will depend on which groups provide the four best third-placed teams.
There are 15 possible permutations, although – to complicate matters further – there is a greater chance of some combinations than others. There are seven scenarios in which the winner of Group B would face the third-place team in Group A, seven in which they would face the third-placed team in Group D, but only one in which they could face the third-placed team from Group C. That means that if England win Group B and Northern Ireland finish third in Group C, they are highly unlikely to meet in the last 16.ultra.zone/UEFA-EURO-2016-Group-StageQuite an interesting little predictor thing here where you can work out who it'd be based on certain results. One goal in any match can completely change the last 16 pairing based on all kinds of goal difference shenanigans, so it'll be impossible to know who's playing who 'til pretty much the last kick of the group stage. Hard to get a handle on who's actually any good in this tournament, but seems to be more than a reasonable chance of it being Croatia, which wouldn't be much of a reward for winning the bloody group

Avoid Croatia.
Take any of the others.

Croatia would be the most dangerous team out of those 4 but I think we could and should beat any of them. The Czechs would be my choice though.

Yeah - agree on Croatia being the ones to avoid. They clearly aren't really a 3rd-place finisher calibre of team.
But after they f****d it up today, that's where they could well finish with Spain to come in their last group match.

The Swiss or Romanians would do me - we should have enough about us to beat either.
After that, if Portugal win their group and last 16 game, it would be a rematch with the walking ego and his supporting cast.

Avoid Croatia. Take any of the others. After tonight I'd say the French authorities feel the same!

I'd be suprised if Croatia finished third.
They won't be thrashed by Spain, could well even get a point against them, while Turkey are certainly no worse than the Czech Republic and should get something from that game.
We're much more likely to face either of those two IMO, or one of Romania/Switzerland.

Yeah - think I'd put my money on it being Romania, Czech Rep or Switzerland having messed around with that simulator for 5 minutes. Can't see Spain really stepping on the gas against Croatia in the last game and winning by a couple AND the Czechs beating Turkey. But it's possible and that'd really bring it into play. It's weird how one goal in a random game changes the opponent though. There's a scenario where a 1-0 win for England against Slovakia means they play the Czechs, and a 2-0 win means it's Croatia.

Included the Eng/Slovakia dula forecast in an acca that's long since bitten the dust thanks to fucking Austria.

It'd be a lot better if they just had some sort of draw after the group stages where the 4 third placed teams get randomly allocated to play a group winner. That'd save all the pissing around.

Well... There's a bird at the local we go to after work who is Swiss and grand as owt. She's got an incredible figure and I'd very much like to have sex with her. I absolutely love Prague - we have an office over there and I go over once every three weeks. They have two absolute stunners in their office and I'd very much like to have sex with them both, at the same time if preferable. I've many Romanian friends, including my "bezzie" who happens to be really fit and I'd very much like to have sex with her. Croatia is the birthplace of the model Melita Fabečić, who I'd very much like to have sex with....or at least spaff on her face a bit.
So I have no idea - whichever country has some nice birds that'd have sex with me.

If England win the group, there's apparently a 46% chance of them playing the 3rd place team in the France group (and a 46% chance of it being the 3rd place finisher in the Cro/Cze/Tur group)
A 2-1 win for France and a 1-0 win for Romania tonight, and that'll apparently be determined by who has most yellow cards - and then drawing of lots!

If Romania and Albania draw (possible) and Czech don't beat Turkey then the dream scenario of a last 16 game against Northern Ireland will present itself.
