Was sniffing around this myself, always fancied Hamburg. Was talking with a Brizol Rovers fan at work, who went there during the 2006 WC & he said it's his favourite ground. Anyway, I can't come cause it's my sons B'day & we're taking him on holiday to Southern EuropeXx

is it just 1 per season tkt member? Don't think so, on sale on scfc direct to non season ticket holders. Hopefully a few new players on show when this match comes around

No idea why. Kept getting message that I had already had maximum allocation (for my season tkt). Ended up going to ground with 2 season tkts to get 2 tkts.

I think I will be drinking in Hans Albers Platz just off the Reeperbahn until past 3ish. Train up to the ground and a 15 min stroll from the station. In my seat at 3.55pm..perfect.

Any one know if you can get tickets at the gate? I assume no one knows then? If no answer I'll contact the club tomorrow. Sure they'll accommodate me. I'm kind of a big deal here in Belgium.

Ticket Office has confirmed to me that you can buy tickets at the gate.
So I'll likely be taking the wife on a romantic weekend trip to Hamburg next week.
Though I think I'll keep the game a secret for the time being and then once there play dumb and act all surprised about it.

Where's everyone staying, anyone in the the Linder Hotel am Michel? Other side of the park to you, Holiday Inn St Pauli Couple of questions mate... or for anyone who can answer them... Having just seen that there's a fair on I'm thinking to take a 1/2 day off work so I can try and get there for that (Fireworks are on the Friday night apparently). Otherwise I'll go to the fair on Saturday after the game. Anyway, from what I see the fair is in St Pauli so I should be looking at hotels around there right? How easy is it to get from St Pauli to the Hamburg Stadium? I could drive but I'd prefer not to as I'll be wanting to get to the fanpark early doors, have a few pints and then need to buy some tickets on the gate.

Liking the attention to detail You can't go wrong with the Hamburg transport website ..it does it all for you. I was in Hamburg a couple of years ago and was impressed by the public transport. You can get a group ticket if there are 2 or more of you. It costs less than 12euro a day and all people in the group travel on that ticket. Having said that, the max single trip fare for most Stokies will be 2.20 euros. I assume most Stokies will only be travelling in/around the centre and St.Pauli so their train costs will only be either 2.20 or 1.50 per journey....cheap as chips! For those blokes who are still kids at heart and appreciate train sets & model building it is worth a visit to Miniatur Wunderland.

If you go from St.Pauli you would have to change trains. You may have to wait at least 3mins for your connecting train. I couldn't be doing with such inefficiency. If you go from Reeperbahn it's a straight trip - 12mins...and about 1 euro cheaper. 2.20euro v 3.20 euro. Daylight robbery!

Apparently the match ticket has a train ticket on the back, valid return on match day, they have Fahrkrate hvv on the back
