Yet again we find out from a German paper. Do the club just not want us to go?
Is this confirmed as first team? Is it definitely Aug 6th?

What happened about Rhyl? On thier website it says it's confirmed... You don't honestly think we're going to send our first eleven to Rhyl for our final pre-season friendly do you?

I don't think anyone expects the first 11 at Rhyl of all places. Though it would almost be a homecoming for Sparky - only 40 miles from Wrexham.

Sorry but that article stinks of arrogance, "who are stoke" "now at the season opening not even a class opponent" I don't think they realise how shit they are these days, last season 5 points off the bottom 3, the season before just survived the relegation play offs, it's time they woke up and accepted the days of HSV being a top side are long gone and Keegan, Kaltz and Magath are just distant memories from the past! On the upside a great place to go for a pre season jolly

They really know how to sell the game to their fans. Lol. You would think they were playing the Vale.

If there is one thing that seems to unite the football world it is a total disregard for our club!!! Me being me I quite like it that way but I guess it's also one of the reasons we seem to get fairly crap commercial deals.

Is this definitely in their swanky stadium or is it another case of us being judged worthy of playing at a local park again?

Has the Orlando match been moved so it can be played on grass as opposed to the artificial surface at the Citrus Bowl? All these questions and more, will not get answered soon...as per usual !!?

This happening then. Still nothing on our site ie kick off time etc The fact we are finding this information out from a foreign paper just shows what an omnishambles we are about communicating to fans. No mention of Germany game Late discussion of games in America No mention of which team will turn up in Rhyl I don't believe that someone from the club with some brains doesn't read the oatcake on a regular basis. You would at least think some of the threads on here would at least cause a "Bloody hell we better mention that" response. When are Orlando Citys media team coming over to show the amateurs how its done? Not soon enough...

Tony Waddington put Stoke on the footballing map by taking the side all over the place playing friendlies at any given opportunity.
Helped with team bonding too.
Yes Hamburg don't seem to realise how low they have fallen but it's up to Stoke to get ourselves known.
