GK: Hart, Forster, Heaton
DEF: Cahill, Smalling, Stones, Clyne Walker, Rose, Bertrand, Jagielka, Cresswell
MID: Dier, Milner, Wilshere, Lallana, Barkley, Alli, SterlingDrinkwater, Henderson (fitness doubt), Carrick, Noble, Delph, Townsend, Walcott, Lingard, Zaha, Antonio, Albrighton
ATT: Kane, Vardy, Sturridge, Rooney Defoe, Rashford, Carroll, DeeneySquad announced on Thursday afternoon apparently. Don't suppose there'll be too many shocks in the 23. Haven't seen anyone suggest Stones is in danger of missing out although there seems to be a bit of a doubt emerging over which defenders he'll be taking because he wants to reduce the number of defenders to 7 to give him greater flexibility further forward. The press also seem to have got the idea that Wilshere is in the squad. TelegraphThe England manager will take five strikers – Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge – and just seven defenders. That means he may take just three specialist full-backs, with potentially Kyle Walker or Danny Rose missing out. Or he may opt for just three specialist centre-backs, leaving out Phil Jagielka, and relying on cover from the likes of Eric Dier in that position
Welbeck's late injury has given him a problem. Will he replace him with a wide player or a striker? And if he's taking a risk on Wilshere, surely he can't go with Henderson too?

I hope the owl doesn't take Wilshere, what's that little shit done to deserve a place in the squad, yeah he's been injuried but his attitude is disgusting. I'd rather see Antonio start ahead of that little bitch Sterling. Also maybe play Rooney in the CAM position cause he's shite up front.

Welbecks injury is a big blow. I'm surprised more hasn't been made of it actually. He's an underrated England man.

Wonder if it may push him towards a diamond, with Vardy and Kane up front, rather than go with the 4-3-3 now. Sterling's done nothing to justify the start and our strength is our strikers.

It won't be long before they arrive and spam the thread
Me I'd take Rashford 100%......in every squad you have about 6 players who never get used so it's worth taking a few loose cannons

Confirmation on Welbeck. Press seem to think it's between Townsend and Walcott to replace him Townsend is a different beast in an England shirt. Could do worse, but I'd have gone for Antonio.

I wouldn't take any of the Arsenal lot, least of all Wilshere. They have shocking attitudes, are bad eggs in the camp and are desperately unreliable.
Seriously, how can Wilshere's inclusion be justified? He's garbage when he's fit, never mind when he's crocked. He's a poor man's Charlie Adam with none of the charm.

Klopp in his presser has given us the good news... Henderson will be fit for the Euros.
I'm better than him.

I think we'd be mad not to go for the diamond and incorporate Vardy and Kane. 2 bang in form English strikers with almost 50 prem goals between them. One full of confidence having just won the league, the other having his second great season running and no doubt catching the eye of Europe's big guns. One has the physical attributes to win stuff in the air if we need to play that way, hold it up etc. The other has the pace to get in behind and stretch defences. It's a no brainer for me.

I'd 100% take Defoe. 18 goals this season the guy is a goal scoring machine. Perfect if we need a late one. When the ball drops to him in a good area he tends to find the onion bag.
Anyone going over there by the way? 12 of us going to the Russia game then up to Paris for a couple of days. Look out for my England/Stoke flag!

I'll never learn but I genuinely believe we go with potentially a great squad and chance of winning it. I just Roy picks players in form and gives them freedom to play

This squad of players is exciting, quick and can play a bit. I think we will win it but I'm bloody daft

How can I get the subject of Robert Huth into this thread?
ANYWAY have Wales got a chance of getting through the group? I don't see why not really. But if Bale gets hurt that's it.

I'm glad that Hummels has signed for us (Bayern)... Now he can concentrate on the Euros and not about his future!
Hopefully Löw will grip them now it is serious time. The game against Slovakia should tie down the team... Now we have Gundogen is out now!
