In my eyes not a bad performance today. Defensively much better now that useless German has been dropped and plenty of hunger, another day we win this 2-0. Our luck clearly was out at the end but the improved performance is the bigger picture.
The Manager should not be immune from criticism and in recent weeks he has deserved some, not only for some decisions but for the limp performances. However lets take the season as a whole - it has been without doubt a good one. Entertaining games, some good football and a strong squad has been assembled.
Just be careful what you wish for. Bigger clubs than us are i deep shit - Clubs like Sunderland no less.
Mark Hughes is the man so stop being so blinkered.

So we are 10th in the best league in the world and still people talk about "Bigger Clubs Than Us" .
I accept there are 29 better off clubs than us but we rank at no.30 on the rich list. Not really poor little old Stoke anymore are we?
Hughes can be the man indeed but just lately he needs to be careful he doesn't become Martinez. Results > Entertainment every time.

Have I been in a coma and woken up to a top 5 side , we are a mid table team we win we lose we draw , look at those pricks from Arsenal demonstrating against Wenger, now if we had won half of what they had under him he would be mayor of Stoke

Useless German? Whilst Shawcross was out he had some excellent performances you blinkered buffoon Very apt username if you think that. Do you suffer from some form of mental retardation? Six games ago we had a very real chance of challenging for a European place. He was ever present in getting us into that position. He was excellent in the Cup game against Liverpool.....and other games.

Harsh on Wollscheid. Cameron was the right choice today to try and deal with Defoe. Would we have faired any better with him at CB in the last 3 games? I don't think we would.
But he shouldn't have dived in (like he always does) to give away the penalty.

Then you have to make the point that Ryan also featured in 3 of those games, conceding 12 in 3. I find it hilarious how people still find a way to involve wolly in a thread when he hasn't even played. Hughes had to drop one of the CB's today and it was always going to be Wolly considering the other is our club captain.

Any other course of action would make you look like an agenda driven spunk puffin. H
