The best side I've seen at the Brit this season played us off the park, hats off to them you can tell they really want that league from the first whistle.
As for Shawcross for England not a chance he's above average at best.

As for Shawcross for England not a chance he's above average at best. That's was, without question, the worst game he has had for us. But above average at best is a reactionary, stupid, I'll-thought out, brain dead comment

1 bad game they're allowed.

That was Ryan's worst game for us, but that's just nonsense. If it weren't for his herculean form that held the whole team together over winter, we'd be circling the relegation plughole.

Shawcross ain't fit. A fully fit Shawcross is definitely good enough for England. An appalling injury list has given us little option but to play him.

See how he goes with a summer off but his best days may be behind him now since his back problems. Why does he resort to the 9 iron chip so much?

He won't make a full season without that injury reoccurring and hasn't been the same full bloodied Shawcross we all know and love since coming back from it. Very sad, but true.

Shawcross gets drawn out the middle too much for me and nobody covers for him like the goals through the middle tonight...

I think tonight it was because we had actually done some homework. Rose is a gung-ho win everything type of full back. He gets little help off Eriksson or Lamela though. Cameron is better in the air, so it was little chip to Cameron, wins a little flick to Shaq and away we go. It worked zero times out of the 6,000,000 times we tried it. Largely due to the abysmal attempted passes.

Spurs were absolutely superb all over the pitch.Technically gifted and fabulous athletes with it.Gave us a royal stuffing,it happens, sure we didn't help ourselves and were particularly anaemic, but sometimes you have to give credit where it's due.Far and away the beat side I've seen us face this season.

I've always been of the idea that shawcross is a very good defender but not good enough for England. He's bern brilliant for us though and we depend on him so much; which is a big worry coz if these back problems will continue to persist we have to invest in 2 good CBs. Wolly, muni, wilson and Cameron just aren't good enough for premier league CBs

Shawcross was totally exposed by players who should have been with him. He couldn't mark them all.
Apart from him we've not got a decent central defender on the books

He can play it around when he wants then it's like a system reboot and off it goes either for a goal kick or to one of theirs. Seems like a confidence thing to me, like I did at school, get rid before you lose it.

Both centre backs were dreadful tonight.
Real x rated stuff.
Ryan has fucking loads of credit in the bank mind....

For a long time I've thought Shawcross is the best English centre half, but recently he's looked awful. Obviously we hope it's down to a lack of fitness and those around him not being good enough, but we really should start to consider spending some serious £££ on at least one centre half this summer to play alongside him or replace him if this back problem has made this poor form a more regular thing.

I think they are probably the fittest side I've seen at the Brit this season, coupled with the talent of the likes of Kane and Alli and it's not hard to see why they're challenging for the title.

It really was a masterclass on how to break with devastating pace. I just wish someone would tell Imbula to push forward with pace instead of tip tapping about. On a lighter note I've just seen Louise Minchins knickers on BBC news

I thought you said he wasn't shit the other day? Make your mind up...... They're all shit this morning but he was a special kind of shit with a cherry on. Imbula, Whelan, Shaqiri, Arnautovic and Bojan were the worst players on the pitch. Our defence was absolutely all over the place caused largely by them getting zero protection and by the players in front of them constantly giving the ball away and putting them under pressure. But it doesn't surprise me that you give Wollscheid a special mention......
