He scored 17 goals last season. That was in a poor side too. I can understand the concerns about his character, although I think that's been over played, but you can't doubt he knows how to score goals. Why is his character any different to John Walters, Peter Odimeingie or Danny Higginbottom ? Not sure it's just been about the transfer shenanigans tbh.

One bloke doesn't like him!
He should never have taken the ball from Gardner. Gardner takes a cracking penalty and team is far more important than that odious little shite looking to grab the headlines.
Not sure why we continue to play him when he has been dreadful since his 'reintegration' into the side. No one will sign him in the summer as we will want £20m for him and he is worth around £5m.
Still fuming that we didn't get rid of him in January. The lad is a busted flush and his attitude absolutely stinks, the team would be far better without him. All the things i said in January and continue to be proven right about.

I'd still like to see him at Stoke. Definite talent and potential.
At the same time, West Brom have got to be sensible about the pricing. He's hardly played this season, he obviously has attitude and possibly weight problems, and he's not covered himself in glory when he's had reasonable scoring chances this season.
Their supporters are still talking in terms of £20m despite almost all of them being desperate to get rid. West Brom should be revising this figure to a lot nearer to £10m. I have a feeling they'll stubbornly continue to ask too much for him, with the danger being that he'll be snapped up on a free by someone at the end of next season with his career going rapidly down the pan.

WBA fans can't have it both ways - £20m tag and he's hopeless - he needs to be gone and wherever he goes he will almost certainly do better than there.

I'm sensing a trend here.

Hope we don't sign him - when the going gets tough he digs his head in the sand and asks for a move.
That and the fact he'd cost around £20m....I'd definitely pass on this one.

If spurs want him then we won't get him. We have to be realistic about that

Surely if Spurs finish second, they can get a lot better?

If we are going to spend 20 million on a striker it has to be a player capable of scoring between 15 - 20 goals a season, I dont think he has managed 20 in his career at WBA - looks a bit lightweight to me and not a step up from what we already have He scored 20 goals in all competitions in 2014/15 season. He's far better than any of our attackers and being English 20 Million would still be an alright fee all being told although I think WBA are gonna have to accept maybe half that with decent incentive add ons. Hopefully Spurs success will see them looking elsewhere for bigger names.

No brainer at that price. Although I'd be tempted to add a few more million to that sum and go for Bony.

haha Berahino at that price will see Stoke near the bottom of a very long cue I reckon, let's move on. It's a great tactic by wba to get maximum money for him by starting the bidding low, I'm surprised he's not on ebay
