I keep saying it. Do the corner and thrash another tier onto the Seddon, or double the size of the Boothen and make it safe standing with rail seats a la Dortmund.

Aren't we prevented by the F.A. from introducing safe standing?

Safe standing even better. I'll move my ST there please. Boots is a good place to get Anusol cream you know! It's not my arsehole. Sitting on a cold plastic seat gives me cramp and having the cold seat in contact with areas around my lower back and hips plays havoc with my aches and pains.

Just knock the South Stand down..easily done given it's made out of Lego and build a 12,000 seater stand. Rename it The Boothen & stick the away fans in the Lower West Stand. In between The Boothen & West Stand put a giant Screen.

If they knocked down the away end I could sell safe standing tickets in my back garden =)
With a hospitality box in my loft.
We have an outside bog with a brook for those who prefer to stay put =)
Seriously more chance of this happening than Stoke filling in the corners.

But wouldn't that mean he would have to acknowledge the need to increase the capacity of the stadium, remember we don't want to see any empty seats

Our ninth season in the Premier League and people still stopped from going.
Well done Scholes, well done Coates.

The builders should be in this Summer. It's absolutely ridiculous that the ground hasn't been extended already. Im still not convinced it will ever get done.

For me, the biggest problem that would arise from increasing the capacity is the access to the stadium and parking. It's bad enough now let alone with an extra 4K fans etc.. Stoke on Trent is not an affluent area, we could easily get more fans in with better cheap access/transportation from estates around he city and further reduced prices. (I realise prices are already cheap compared with the rest of the prem but as I said Stoke isn't an affluent area, prices need to reflect this)

Virtually every ground in the country has access issues - that's what happens when a mass of people congregate in one place.

No sayin we shouldn't have it done pal. But you increase the capacity and you need to provide better access. It's not rocket science.

Never understood why, after they sold off half of the South car park to Audi or whoever it was, they did not buy up more land lower down SSM Way for parking. There is loads still avaliable, then make SSM Way a one way road to Trentham post match.

I believe the coach park is up for sale now for car showroom development

Matchday traffic is horrendous due to the Clown Traffic Management Company already, but thats another debate.

As of now you have virtually no club car parking apart from a select few. People park on grass verges and central reservations which isn't ideal as is not good for safety and its hit and miss as to whether they get a ticket\fine. You have to park in the centre of Stoke pretty much or be lucky enough to know someone that works at Dhl or one of the businesses in the vicinity. The buses from Stoke are a good idea. All that said the ground is a ball ache to get to. If they increase the capacity which I hope they do, then they need to improve access/parking somehow. A new car park would be a good start like the gent said above. It isn't just a case of building a new part of he stand

Same coming back. It's not really a ball-ache is it? I could understand it if we were increasing by 5 to 10 thousand but we're talking less than 2.
