As of now you have virtually no club car parking apart from a select few. People park on grass verges and central reservations which isn't ideal as is not good for safety and its hit and miss as to whether they get a ticket\fine. You have to park in the centre of Stoke pretty much or be lucky enough to know someone that works at Dhl or one of the businesses in the vicinity. The buses from Stoke are a good idea. All that said the ground is a ball ache to get to. If they increase the capacity which I hope they do, then they need to improve access/parking somehow. A new carp park would be a good start like the gent said above. It isn't just a case of building a new part of he stand I live on the outskirts of Newcastle. 10 minute drive, park, 10-15 minute walk. Same coming back. It's not really a ball-ache is it? I could understand it if we were increasing by 5 to 10 thousand but we're talking less than 2. To be fair, we have held our end of the bargain and Scholes should hold his.... In fact I feel we should be doing both corners or adding a tier on the boothen and a corner!

Aren't we prevented by the F.A. from introducing safe standing? Not by the FA - by English and Welsh Law. Not by Scottish Law though - which is why Celtic are trialling it.

Record early bird sales, great to see. Not the same as an extra 1000 sold by the start of next season , just a chance a significant number of fans have committed to next season by the beginning of April. We never get the figures I do expect us to reach the target set by the club, for next season and a corner added by 2017 Be great to get a bit more detail re numbers

What will happen first? Stoke announce they are to develop a corner or Stoke to actually score from a corner?

Very close momo, but it was in fact Webby Jr who floated the corner in

Our ninth season in the Premier League and people still stopped from going.
Well done Scholes, well done Coates. Totally agree, they've done a fantastic job for this club.

All this negativity about the stadium. It's the team that matters more to me. I would watch Stoke in a pig sty if we could put a team together to win a trophy! And no, you already are quote's please!

I like the Brit tbh. I really don't get the negativity towards it. I can see why people want to expand but the stadium as is is fine.

Some things you can't do anything about however including the gap between the Q Railing stand and the pitch and the fact the place is 180 degrees out anyway.

For me, the biggest problem that would arise from increasing the capacity is the access to the stadium and parking. It's bad enough now let alone with an extra 4K fans etc.. Stoke on Trent is not an affluent area, we could easily get more fans in with better cheap access/transportation from estates around he city and further reduced prices. (I realise prices are already cheap compared with the rest of the prem but as I said Stoke isn't an affluent area, prices need to reflect this) Chelsea and Tottenham are increasing their capaity by many thousands, Spurs are going up 24,000, they are already hemmed in, same as Arsenal, people will find a way.

Folks get a bit embarrassed because it's got a large gap in the corner and doesn't look like a modern bowl . It's fine really . If it were like vicarage road or selhurst park then they would have something to moan about

The design is fine, the car parking is ample, getting away was fine when the police were in charge, that soon changed when they put this management company in place. 180 degrees out? What? The gap between the Q Railing and pitch affects nothing.

I understand following the great news above- the very latest news for the club is that:-
Tony Scholes has appointed Deloitte and Touche to look into the feasibility of the club ordering another tray of sausage rolls

2017 now to fill the corner in? Scholes is a complete numpty if hes using 2016 season ticket sales to forecast ground capacity levels required in 2017!
We could get relegated or we could get Champions League. Who the FUCK really knows.
Should have been done a long time ago. Build the extra seats and SELL them Mr Managing Director. thats your bloody job

The gap between the Q Railing and pitch affects nothing. It affects nothing apart from the conditions, capacity and atmosphere obv. 180 degrees out as in the configuration means that players come out and leave next to the away fans, it makes getting off the main car parks more difficult while the official away coaches leave and it was often a source of crowd trouble in the past and may be again. That's before you even get to the bland design of the stadium and the fact we appear to have paid over the odds for it.

The conditions I like, the capacity (I think is fine) and it's easily expandable if the owners so do wish (there is nothing stopping them) and the atmosphere is brilliant when we're on it. That's pretty shit granted. Getting out of the car park is an issue but it is at most grounds I've been to. I don't think it will be though because crowd trouble in the sense you mean hasn't been seen at the Brit since we got promoted and I don't think it will do on a scale again as long as we stay in the Premier League. If we don't the crowds will half so getting off the car park will be less of an issue! I couldn't give a monkeys about the design tbh, it looks fine, it looks like a football ground. Did we? I thought it was done on the cheap?

Will the club decide to sell these additional seats as season tickets ? If so it won't resolve the problem of fans who want to buy one off games

We've moved on as a club and the ground should reflect this, not look and feel like a half finished annex of the incinerator.
