The two sets of forwards on each team.. Tuncay, Ric, Mama, Steeeeeino
Odewingie, Beattie, Kitson, Crouch, Iwelumo
Assuming all players at their absolute peak, Which set would you take for Stoke Premier League 2016/2017??

Piss poor effort ticket wise, west ham sold 35,000 for nobles testimonial. I thought we'd at least get 22k in. i'm guessing the majority of the 12k are pre-promotion st holders. Wankers

Wankers West Ham's was an Easter Monday/school holidays during international weekend. Ours is a Monday night 18 hours after out last home game so people travelling from afar may not be able to do both journeys in quick succession plus it's a school night so lots of people won't take kids. Got fuck all to do with being pre-promotion fans or wankers 15,000 would be more than reasonable in my opinion. It's just being timed badly, yes the pitch is being ripped up but should have done it on a Sunday after an away game or something.....

Brilliant.
You really have made my day, Ta.

12,000 for a local lads testimonial... Fucking abysmal that.

I remember being disappointed when only 13,500 turned up for Denis Smith's testimonial

Less than we got for, say, the League Cup game against Sheffield Wednesday, or last season's League Cup game against Southampton, would be really, really poor.

As people have said, though, the timing really isn't good for people who don't live in the area. I would think that there are a good number of people who could have come at a weekend, but can't make it up there on a Monday night. I would think anything close to 15,000 would be a very good turn out.

Been lucky enough to get the day off so really looking forward to making a day of it, as I don't get down to Staffordshire anything like as often as I would wish at the moment. Leaving Leeds at crack of dawn, to spend a few hours in my favourite piece of Staffordshire landscape (walking round Copmere, Langot Valley than Bishop's Woods and back to Copmere), then taking me old mum and dad out for something to eat at Trentham, then off to match. Back in Leeds about midnight.
