7,000 sold so far so would expect well over 10,000 That's a disappointing figure truth be told. Personally I've been looking forward to this more than any match for years. Given that it'll be a last goodbye to players that never got the opportunity to do so... Still, plenty of time.

If my memory serves me right we only got 8000 for Banks testamonial.Stoke fans all gob no action,I like to bet 50% of those on this board you said they are going don't even no where the ground is,and for some idiot to say the police bill will be 27000£ shows what liars there is,there will be 5 coppers at most.

Noble's was a weekend around half term if I recall, Wilkinson's a Monday night 24 hours after another home game. I appreciate the limitations with the pitch but it's still pretty poor planning. I'm going to have to play it by ear as I have a meeting in London and will do will to get back up in time which would be a real shame...

I attended the Gordon banks Testimonial v Man U and I would suggest the crowd was more like 30,000.
As for the Wilko game I am not going ,im an out of town fan and don't want to travel to that god forsaken hole on a hill two days on the trot. Like many others I would have attended at a weekend but not midweek with all the hassles. Poor planning in my view.

Noble's testimonial was played on the afternoon of Easter Monday. There were no Premier League fixtures this year over Easter as it coincided with international fixtures. You may recall that England beat Germany in Berlin on Easter Saturday and then played Netherlands at Wembley on the following Tuesday. Yes you're right. Cracking day to do it as reflected in the sell out crowd....

Cancel your meeting Prestwich, sod your job right off, this is Wilko's send off party and I for one wouldn't miss it for the world. I assumed that this would be a sell out and only a tenner a seat to charity too. I still have a lot to learn it seems. More excited about this than the Wet Sham game, should be a great night, we need a full house, come on lads!!!!!

Sorry if this has already been asked.
I see from the sentinel website that Wilko is one of the managers on the night. Does this mean he is not actually playing?
Thanks in advance.

Today's sentinel a 24 page special on Wilko's testimonial. Some great words from the 'modern day legends' that played with the big guy.
Full line ups in there to!

Is it me, or or has Wilko picked all of the best players?

I unfortunately can't make this game either, as much as I was looking forward to seeing all the golden oldies of recent years again! Any chance any of the match will be recorded? Thought it would be awesome if the whole game was filmed and whacked on a DVD and all the proceeds of that went to charity. I'd definitely pick it up!

Is it true that only 7,000 tickets have been sold? Surely we can do a lot better than that.

Anybody heard why Robert Huth is not playing? With Leicester already wrapping up the title I was sure he would be playing.

Apparently Hughes is also hoping to play a part on the pitch. Will be interesting if he scores. I can already hear the chants .... "Sign him up" "Sign him up"

I wouldn't miss Wilkos Testimonial for the world and at £10 we should have 20,000 but we won't.
If the weathers decent about 13,500...our average gate in the Championship.
At least we'll be sitting with proper Stokies not fickle glory hunters.

With the amount of bunny boilers we have amongst our midst, will these ex players be able to leave alive? To be fair if these figures of tickets sold are to believed, these ex players feel more for the club and Wilko than plenty of our fans!

With having unreserved seating you'd think they will have pay on the gate.

Im REALLY looking forward to this
What a line up!
Cant wait to see Fuller & Stein together on the pitch (hopefully)
Will be great to see if Hughes has still got a goal in him, if the rumours are true
I hope Wilko scores but not in a way that makes it TOO easy - would like him to at least semi-have to beat the keeper
And anyway, which side do you root for??!! You've gotta pick one, to give the game at least a degree of excitement
Ill pick Wilko's on the basis of Stein but Ill be cheering as loudly if Beattie scores!
Hope Kitson gets a good reception; top lad of him to turn up and was he really so bad anyway?? Scored some decent goals
Think with all that talent, we could end up with a 6-6 draw; certainly wont be goalless
Was deceived for a minute when I saw Henry; for a moment I thought it was Thierry roped in for a night??!! Ex Arsenal or not, that would have been something!!!

Will be absolutely brilliant to all those players again. Even better if Hughes can get on the pitch. Can't remember the last time I've looked forward to a game this much.
