Bangoura won't turn up, in fact is he still alive? Was with wilko yesterday at the under 21s and no one even knows where bangoura is so he won't be playing trust me. He's currently with Association Sportive Kaloum in Guinea so not sure why "no-one even knows where he is" :-) But 17 goals in 28 games for us ( equivalent to 23 goals in a Prem season ) - what would we give for that kind of performer now ?!

The players have thrown the towel in on the season so can we just fuck it off and have this at the weekend?

Stoke City: Tuncay returning for Andy Wilkinson testimonial

Tuncay... a popular figure among Stoke fans Comments (0)
TUNCAY is the latest Stoke City favourite to toss his name into the hat for Andy Wilkinson's testimonial.
Now 34, Tuncay has been playing for Indian Premier League outfit FC Pune where his team-mates include former Stoke keeper Steve Simonsen.
The former Turkish international joined Stoke from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2009 and went on to make 55 appearances in 18 months at the Britannia.
He joins an ever-lengthening list of vintage Stoke stars signing up to pay tribute to Wilko in his testimonial on Monday May 16 (7.45pm).
The likes of Ricardo Fuller, Mark Stein, James Beattie, Rory Delap, Liam Lawrence and Danny Higginbotham are among those signing up for the game.
And many still playing, like Peter Crouch and Asmir Begovic, have also pledged their time.

Any indication as to how large the crowd will be?
Over or under 10000?

Any indication as to how large the crowd will be? Over or under 10000? I'd imagine under. Hopefully the naughty kids won't be there who act like little cunts! I can remember the Stoke U21s game against Newcastle and there were kids playing up.

Really looking forward to this! Want to show a massive appreciation to these guys who got us into the Prem and most were the first building block of where we are today! Who are you most looking forward to seeing again? For me something like...
1. Fuller 2. Delap 3. Ethers 4. Lawrence 5. Stein

I imagine Leicester will have one hell of a party the night before (after last game of the season). I can't blame him for not signing up for the testimonial!!

Under 10k would be an appalling turnout wouldn't it? It would be, the number of players confirmed is staggering, and they and Wilko deserve better !

It would have been better to kick off half an hour after the west ham game. Agreed, would've made much more sense. I'm travelling down from Cumbria for the West Ham game on the Sunday, travelling home, and then travelling back down again for the testimonial on the Monday! It's not surprising we haven't shifted many so far, most exiles won't bother unless they happen to be stopping over on the Sunday anyway. Sure it'll still be a great occasion though even if there is only around 10K attending.
