Fingers crossed all. I am a symbol of bad luck for Stoke City so I have avoided going to this one today.

Can't see a victory today. Hope I'm wrong, but another 3-0 defeat potentially looms with our current form and the form of Afobe for ballmouth.

Light snow on the northern edge of Leeds this morning - hope it is better weather for all those travelling Stokies making the long journey south. Good luck and come on Stoke!

Like most of you, I suspect, I look forward to today's match with some trepidation and anxiety; recent form has been dire.
Putting on my optimistic hat though, when you look at Bournemouth's record there is little to fear apart from the fact they have been lucky with their fixture programme.
They have only beaten 2 teams above us in the Prem.; they caught out a very "leaky" West Ham early in the season, last August, 3-4. and they met ManU at the "right time" last December. They have also met and beaten Crystal Palace, Chelsea, and West Brom, all away, at the "right time" when those teams were on poor runs of form. Their only other victories have been at home to Norwich and Sunderland.
Conclusion: We have nothing to fear from Bournemouth, home or away, they have only won when they have beaten poor teams, or teams on a bad run. So, we are on a bad run , but there is no one to blame except "ourselves". (Unless you are one of those fans who believe "we win" but it's Stoke that lose!) It is up to us to end the poor run of form today. We must shoot on sight and snatch an early goal to put them under pressure. The defence have got to get their fingers out and give us a clean sheet; IMO there are number of the back line now playing for their place at the club, not just the first XI. On current form only Ryan is really worth his place next season, and probably Cameron, as useful cover for 3 positions. The others should be looking over their shoulder to be replaced, or buck their performances up.
I for one will be distinctly "dis-chuffed" if we start holding the ball, aimlessly passing it about till we lose it. I do feel however than Imbula is more positive than that, here's hoping. GOARRN STOKE!

I'm glad I stayed away from The Oatcake this week, some of the spineless negativity is truly pathetic.
GO ON STOKE !!!

All runs end. Even bad ones. If we play to our strengths we should beat Bournemouth.

What's up with everyone?
90% of the people on here are expecting a loss and they hope we can scrape a draw.
Sure, we've been poor recently but that's Stoke - we'll have some great games, then a poor run, and then one win can turn it all around again.
I can see this being a comfortable 2-0 win, with Wolly and Muniesa turning their form around.
Arnie with both the goals and both in the first half.

If we can match their work etic we'll be fine, if not we all know what is looming!

Matching their work ethic should not be a problem after recent performances. We need to be shooting "ON TARGET" with every half chance we get on goal. Come on Stoke. Just do it!!

Hope the team is given time to settle in to the game before we go all out attack, they're going to try to come at us and we could do well on the break, as always it depends which Stoke turn up

Just had a nice pub lunch in Boscombe. Things suddenly feel better. Think we'll only lose by 2 now

I don't think we will loose today. MH has had some time this week with them all & that can only be a good thing.
I would settle for a draw now, to steady the ship, but more importantly we need to see an improvement on the pitch in general. Then we have plenty of time for the squad & MH to iron out the wrinkles & get some of the niggling injuries out of the way.
Going to try & be positive.

They are not world beaters - if our squad is worthy of the name we should get something out of today. Need to be positive up front and strong at the back - it's easy this football lark!!

I think today is a good day for the false 9. Bournemouth will be confident of beating us. We need plenty of midfield protection.
Imbula driving forward on the break with bojan, arnie and shaq in front would be interesting to see

I'm hoping that the week long training has corrected some of our problems. Expecting a tough game but a win.
