Bad news about Ryan.. But definitely a good move not to rush him back... All I want is a clean sheet.. Anything else would be a bonus.. I think they will come at us so I'd play Jack Johnson, Wolly, Muni, Erik Whelan, Afellay, Imbula Annie?, Bojan, Shaq Let's hope this Annie lass can beat her man round the outside for a change

Such is football a few weeks ago we would have been relishing this game and looking for 3pts. Now its a feared fixture. The manager really needs to sort his players out get them focussed and instil that winning mentality in them again or choose players that will show the lead in what's required on the pitch. Even without Ryan we shouldn't be shipping goals like we are. My main concern remains who can stick the ball in the net for us or even take a feckin shot! I will go with an improved defensive performance and someone getting a goal from a deflection to stop the rot so 1-1

Glad we haven't lost 4.0 for the last three weeks. So I will go for the three points to us and Ireland to shine and score.

Doesn't matter we're going to lose anyway.
Time for a break and a re think and come back fighting.

Damn, Shawcross will be a massive blow again, Cameron is the same as the others, makes no difference without Shawcross.

I think there has been a collective kick up the arse this week from Hughes and the management for all the lads. I will be surprised if we again succumb with barely a whimper this weekend.

It's not good when Stoke have less chance of beating Bournemouth than Leicester do of beating Arsenal

A really, really really wank scrappy 1-0 win. No, let's go for a classy 3 - 1 win with some breathtaking skill.

Hughes will pick.... Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Imbula Whelan Walters Bojan Arnautovic Joselu I would pick..... Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Whelan Imbula Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic Diouf I'd bench Whelan and play Afellay with Imbula and attack 'till they conna cope with the onslaught. After 5, bring Whelan on for Imbula (who'll be knackered) and take it easy to avoid further injuries. P

It's going to be a tough game , would be good to go Into a two week break with at least a point to stop the recent slump but it's going to take a huge team effort to achieve it .

In that bizarre, our only consistency is our inconsistency, Stoke way, I can see us winning this game. We are at our best when the opposition comes at us and good players simply can't keep playing that badly! Bojan will start, refreshed after a break and with a new contract in his back pocket, and star in a 2-1 win!

Seems only yesterday we used to just wright off away games. How times change eh.
Now we moan if we don't win them and call the manager clueless.
Any away point is and always has been a bonus for me, I expect them to come at us and score but I also expect us to score 2.
If we flop badly again then something is wrong that we are not aware of.
We need 7 points and I'm looking for at least one of them this game.

Bournemouth should stay up comfortably now but you'd think we were playing Real Madrid tomorrow. Like most Premier League games if we play badly we will lose however the side is more than capable of turning up and performing and if they do then quality should come out on top. We might even bring our shooting boots for once. 3.1 to Stoke.

Does anyone know who the referee is for tomorrow? Some rookie I believe who did a piss poor job at Swansea then got demobbed. His first Prem game back tomorrow, Graham Scott.

I am finding this game very difficult to predict, we cant score goals, leaking quite a few in, not looking like scoring, not looking tight in defence,
2-1 Bournemouth, we have a peno

I'm not looking forward to this game today, not because Bournemouth are better than us but the fear of us losing another. However, we are still capable of winning games without shawcross (Liverpool away). A win today will be a huge sigh of relief, losing is unthinkable, I'd take a point for sure.
