Such a generic OP criticizing fans.
I left on 90 minutes. Me & my lad were freezing and soaked to the bone.
My lad wanted to leave after half time but I said no we will wait, after all the second half couldn't have been bad as the first. I was right it didn't rain as much.

I always boo when we are losing, especially when we are on a bad run. I think letting the players know they have played badly is important, otherwise how would they possibly know? Also, the additional pressure might help, particularly when they are low on confidence. Next time they are less likely to play shit because they know we will give them shit at the end for it. I'm sure if we all start doing it more the performances will improve. Irony is lost on some of these "customers" mate. I won't tarnish the term supporter.

Fans booing and going quiet in a bad performance is the equivalent of a player blaming his teaming mates for playing poorly while disappearing himself. This. Every time.

I wanted to leave at half time, I rang the other half but she's yet to master her iPhone and didn't reply to my text/calls.
It's horrible to watch at the moment and Hughes has created some seriously pointless, pointless football.
I'm seriously doubting he can take us forward and I'd like an apology for that crap I was forced to watch today.

I boo the opposition and I boo the ref, I'll never ever boo Stoke. Polite applause at the end to acknowledge that they've at least got the bollocks to come and face us.
I always think that supporters of other clubs look like petulant spoilt children when they boo their own. But if you want to boo then boo, you've paid your money and I'm sure that our players will thrive from your encouragement.

Booing the team and leaving early Shallow or what?...get a grip!!! Every team has bad games...the last thing needed is shallow support ...especially with a new brilliant player on board At least they turned up, that's more than the team did. Before anybody gets shirty I stood it out to the very end (but didn't clap them off) naughty me.

If your in a restaurant and have a bad meal you can complain , you can't do that when watching footballl so people boo and have every right if they have paid there money Buying a ticket confers on you no rights, just the PRIVILEGE of being a Stoke City SUPPORTER. The privilege itself was paid for by the generations of lads and lasses gone before who built and maintained the Club through thick, thin and thinner. Through the days when we had a special prize for being shit (the wooden spoon), the days when we nearly went out of business, the days when Adolf robbed us, the days when Arsenal robbed us, the days when the wind robbed us. The Club exists today because people carried on supporting. Being a supporter requires you to play an active role in helping the players get a result on matchday for the club. Booing and pissing off at half time etc. is failing in that duty. Supporting a football club isn't like buying soap powder or passively voting for some spotty oik on X Factor. PS If you require entertainment go the circus and watch some clowns. I think that completes my quota of cliches.

Nobody who went today can be called a fairweather fan. I really thought (hoped) at one point that the game would be abandoned.

Boo'd them off at half time, left on 80 minutes. I applaud commitment and desire to win games. Not a bunch of shrinking millionaires that can't be arsed.
