Some of our fans are great, they don't like Arnie's "body language" they don't like the way Wollscheid runs, what next the amount of Brillcream Geoff Cameron uses?

Some of our fans are great, they don't like Arnie's "body language" they don't like the way Wollscheid runs, what next the amount of Brillcream Geoff Cameron uses? Laughable isn't it ? And proves how desperate folk are getting to slag off players they just don't like. I've come to think we have a section of fans who just don't like footballers.

"Poor poor game from Arnie" - "He scored two goals" - Another bellend of a statement. THE MAN SCORED THE TWO GOALS THAT WON US THE MATCH, do you get that? Because his first half performance was shit ? Yeah sure

Because his first half performance was shit ? Yeah sure What did he do to threaten villa's back four in the first half ? Nothing but neither did Shaqiri or Walters

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it - there is a large section of our support who do not like footballers. They prefer runners*
*but only if they run properly.

No surprise that both were loved by many a stoke fan.

And Jon Walters did what? Oh yes, he ran around a lot yet no 'he's pissing me off' thread - Ho hum, Stoke supporters. There is actually a thread about his constant selection, which I'm finding baffling now with Diouf and Joselu.

A poseur who is not quite as good as he thinks he is - not a team player, a maverick - but opposite to when Tuncay was not given a run-out by TP, Hughes is giving Arnie every opportunity to show us what he can do - it's up to him now, he can play really well (which he's capable of) and up his wages / value / potential to go to a bigger club or he can chuck the chance away and - sooner or later - find himself on the bench at Stoke (along with Joselu and even Bojan etc) then later on not even make the bench. (which the likes of Odemwingie and Adam have to endure ?) It's up to him now.................

Arnie's arrogant, that's why I think some Stoke fans don't like him. Genuinely can't come up with another reason because he's my favourite player to watch and find it utterly mind boggling when I still meet Stoke fans who don't like him.

After yesterday though I'd like to see Diouf given a go on Wednesday night.

It surprises me too how many fans dislike him. I sit all over the ground when I go and at least 1 person moans about him, even before the game!

To think this time last year he'd yet to register a league goal. If Ryan had been fit all season and Diouf hadn't been dealt the cards he has I honestly think we'd have been top six.

It was actually quite intuitive and insightful how the MOTD pundits pointed out his sheer brute strength for the second goal
he just stood his ground SOLID 'like the rock of Gibralter' whilst pretty much everyone else
i.e. at least two large central defenders and the goalie just literally bounced off him whilst, he headed it up into the air and then, just
nonchalantly, chested the ball over the line
( GOALIE IN THE BACK OF THE NET , ONE DEFENDER SPREADEAGLED UNCOMFORTABLY AROUND A POST - THE OTHER ONE JUST WATCHING ON IMPOTENTLY)
Me myself -I just love the fella and savour every single opportunity to watch this fella entertain us
you never quite know what you're going to get with him - but thats part of the fun
Yesterday for that goal, he was our equivaLent of our very own wonderful army's Challenger 2 tank
BOOOOOOM !

Over doing it a bit there with the "Brute strength" lets not make him out to be the hulk. It was piss poor defending and the Villa players should hang their heads in shame. Arnies a good player, but I'm not getting too excited as most the time he's hit and miss. Villa were fucking awful yesterday.

YEP AND WE WALKED AWAY WITH THREE POINTS ! - there have been times in our recent past where we'd have 'ballsed it up'
I rejoice in the fact sometimes we can be right off - and still win premier league matches
thats what good teams do actually
and where we're on form, we can beat absolutely anybody
I rejoice in this

Yeah he's strong and one of the stronger wingers in the game, but that 2nd goal could've easily been prevented if a Villa player stuck his head in or at least made a challenge. Very poor defending, they just gave up.

No! He waves his arms about a bit, has a poor game every now and again, and wants an improved contract. Fuck him off I say. Surely we only want footballers who don't give a shit, are mediocre all the time, and don't want any recognition.
