He does and we do have a habit of under calling injuries for whatever reason may be just to keep the opposition guessing and the players spriits up .
Let's hope that's not the case here

Did he get a knock at all? I'm not holding my breath to say the least, players don't go down and have to go off under no challenge and then play a few days later

Everyone was planning long term replacements. It would be very foolish of the club not to do this to be fair, given his injury issues over the last year or so. |

What makes you think it's short term surely you don't expect the manager to say he's fucked and judging by our first games without him so is our season unless we buy a centre back .
He will wait like everyone else for a scan result because surely we won't make the same Mistake again of expecting him to oaky through it .

On Radio Stoke, Hughes said that Ryan's back had gone into spasm and was locked. He said he hoped he'd be fit for Tuesday, but there was no real way of knowing.
He didn't sound overly confident, so I'm not sure whether something's happened in the meantime to make him more hopeful. Seems unlikely to me, but who knows?
