Finally some good news at last. Is your source what Hughes said in the post-match interview on the BBC or something else please? If the former then while he wasn't formally ruling him in or out, my sense was at that stage he had absolutely no clue.

Hope so, If Wilson plays we've lost before a ball is kicked. I must have been on some good gear all those "good games" he had for us then?

we will lose if Wilson played, then i here dont sell him, he is brilliant for back up.I saw Shawcross doing some stretching within 5 minutes of the game starting, so i do not believe this is anything but a recurrance of his earlier problems.
Mark hughes wants plenty of stokies to go to livertpool so he is trelling little white lies i think. The team will be totaly re-thinkinbg who we need for the transfer window, but first and foremost, we need to get the regulars playing half decent each game. Hughes did pick the wrong line up, but in hindsight its easy to see when we lose 3-0, we had hardly any tacklers in midfield today, and too many so called forards also, for an away match.

Yeh its guaranteed, we lose every game he plays in

It's sold out for Stokies isn't it? So whatever MH says, truth or not, will make fuck all difference to that, why would he 'tell little white lies'?

I'll be amazed if he plays Tuesday , 3 days rest isn't much for a back injury especially on someone who has undergone surgery, one wrong twist or turn and his season could be over.

Did he get a knock at all? I'm not holding my breath to say the least, players don't go down and have to go off under no challenge and then play a few days later Yes they do ! It`s called `international break syndrome`.Not saying Ryans not injured and his importance to us is immense but I wouldn`t be surprised to see him lead us out on Tuesday.

If he was an international footballer B. If there was an international match on Tuesday.

You know what I mean, player has eye on bigger game so pulls out of `lesser` game so that he`ll be fit.Ryan Giggs used to do it all the time for Wales games, don`t think he ever played a midweek international friendly but was always fit for the Scum on a Saturday.
