With Leicester losing tonight, Im hoping this will knock a bit of wind out of their sails for Saturday.....not playing as well as they were

Yes I hope so too. And a few players will be a bit jaded, although they left most of their first team out. A point would still be a good result but they are looking a lot more beatable these days

Well I think we have a chance now on Saturday. I was a bit concerned but hopefully that's knocked the stuffing out of them.

It won't knock the stuffing out of them, they put a weakened team out

Weakened team today for sure, but recently they've had trouble scoring. Good chance to beat another top 5 team. Schedule coming up isn't nice and we need points where we can get them.

It could be a good time to play against Leicester. They are not in shape at the moment - have won only one of their last 5 league games. Mahrez, Vardy are out of form.
We can win there.

Difficult one to call, I think I would rest bojan and possibly shaq for the Liverpool game as we may not get a better chance for silverware, but the Leicester game is probably equally as important due to upcoming fixtures ie Man U, Everton . Stick with same team v Arsenal without bojan, maybe play affelay in behind and Adam / v ginkel alongside whelan. 1-2 is my prediction, Joselu , affelay to score :-)

Historic fixture really. Lost one of the early League Cup finals over 2 legs in the mid sixties to Leicester (before my time I hasten to add!), then lost again over 2 legs when a Gary Parker goal at The Vic sent Martin O'Neil's Leicester to The Premier League. One of the most disappointing nights supporting Stoke for me. After drawing 0-0 away I thought we would do it at home. We'd finished above Leicester in the League and beaten them home and away that season.
Funny how it goes around. In 2008 we played Leicester again on the last day of the season, with that nervy 0-0 draw sending us to the Promised Land, and them back to the third tier of league football.
And here we are again, both teams doing really well this season. Tough game and a difficult selection for MH. Think I might be tempted to keep Walters and Joselu fresh for Liverpool and go a bit longer and more direct on Tuesday, and play our fast creative players on Saturday.
They tend to let teams have the ball and break quickly, and if they have a weakness, it might be Huth and Morgan at CB coping with a lot of movement and pace.
With the fixtures ahead, a point would be good, but I'm sure Hughesy will be going for a win which would be fantastic.

Won't be the Leicester side on the box on Wed DG, but I have a sneaking suspicion you could well be right.

Maybe keep him on the bench, see how the game goes... Don't want to rush him back and for him to be out for longer.

But Arnie has a problem and may be rested!

I was thinking with Shaq that an extra few days rest would keep him fresh for the cup game, especially being a hamstring injury

As long as Jack, Wolly & Ryan can keep Vardy, Mahrez & Okazaki quiet and our boys up front get properly stuck into Leicester's defence, I can see us giving them a good hard plowing !!
