We only bother for the big games. Our atmosphere should be the best it's ever been but it's shameful.
I have waited years for a league cup semi final at the Brit and nobody else seemed to care?!
Tonight was the same. Along with a string of other games. We only care if it's United, arsenal city or Chelsea

The players have done brilliantly to get us to 7th with little or no support/atmosphere. Why don't people sing or encourage the players anymore? We only sing when we score.

Couldn't agree more, went with two Norwich mates and even they commented how quiet we are these days. Sing when we're winning as well, unbelievable.

Oh it as mutt but we have been poor ie Watford palace Liverpool (cup)
V citeh and scum Utd was cracking as it will be on Sun.
Norwich on a wet cold wed night ain't gonna be rocking sadly.
No excuses though just saying.
Players also got to lift us with a fast tempo and passion we rise then with them.

I sat in the q-railing upper tonight. Block 9.. Against the wall.. So think that muted the little sound there was. I normally sit in the boothen but couldn't get tickets. What is it about the Q-Railing that means nobody there wants to make any noise at all? It's like sitting in the Royal bloody box

Lots of noise from Block 19. Cnuts banging on about the IRA as well. Was pleased when Norwich scored and it shut them up. Home support is shite now, I've only got a season ticket to be able to buy away tickets.

What has happened that has led to the IRA song becoming a staple of home games?
EDIT: I actually know the answer to this. In our first game against Chelsea this season, their supporters sang a song to the same tune and Block 19 picked it up. The fact that it's still around shows how bad our atmosphere is now.

It has always been a daft chant not to be taken that seriously. I must say, I've borrowed a ticket for the past 4 home games up the top of Block 19 and I really enjoy it. Standing up and quite a lot of singing, I don't know why people seem to give it some stick on here.

And what's all that clapping about? ;-)

Complacent Arrogance and expectancy to play like Stokealona every game Press bigging us up
Not helped by at times negative slow possession football!
However some of what we do now is sublime.
Crowd just have to stick with it

Lots of noise from Block 19. With everything being chanted out of tune and 100 miles an hour. We really to pick it up and get the place rocking Sunday.

Always said it, fast tempo, pressing, comitted (but fair) tackling gets this crowd going. Slow posession based football as well as its doung for us, will not

Was so quiet last night I agree, had my first taste of the Q Railing upper as well on a mates ticket, (its so different up there!)
However it felt like there was some constant attempts being generated from the much maligned "Block 19" and not a lot from anywhere else so how anyone can complain about them is beyond me. Stand together chant together instead of moaning about the speed of the chant as well! We are a group of fans who like to moan but its getting petty now.
It was absolutely BALTIC last night as well which doesn't help!
And also to agree with nottspotter, the view is fantastic but it seems to be a "no noise zone" blankets, a few cups of earl grey, get the sandwiches out and must leave on the 80th minute old chap as the wife is making tea and crumpets for when I get home. Bizarre part of the stadium when I am so used to the Boothen!
