Motley Crue at the NEC in 1989 - they were on fire; Tommy Lee is an amazing drummer
Seen a few others like Anthrax, WASP, Testament, Marillion but none were as good as the Crue.
Not seen a big act for many a year now, no one comes to the Viccy Hall anymore and its a big effort to go afar if you don't drive.
Ive had tickets to see Metallica a couple of times and each time it seemed to fall through.
The one I REALLY regret is not seeing Motorhead; sadly that chance has passed now for good

I've seen Queen with Adam Lambert and Paul Rodgers who were very good just not in the same league as Fred!

Kate Bush in Brum1979, she was feckin ace and Ian Dury and the Blockheads at the Vic Hall up Hanley duck also stand out. More recently Squeeze in 2014, stood in the mosh pit singing me 'ed of (as did the entire crowd) to Cool for Cats and a few other Squeeze classics.
