Dave
Nice side step but I will give you the credit for acknowledging .
My view for the record and has been since August is 40 is our benchmark and I will be very relieved when we hit it as we can't score and I never trust a team that relies on its away form for survival .as at some point away form deserts you .i addition I fancy third from Bottom might be a high number this time . We have a ring of Matinez Wigan about us big game headlines but bread and butter stutters at home giving points to our most relevant rivals with home games against Newcastle , Norwich , Villa ,Swansea , Sunderland to come we have to put that right if we do we will be fine if we don't expect a very worrying spring We can of course address some of the investment issues In Jan and I sincerely hope we do

Soggy biscuit, you give me a headache reading your dribble. Keep away from sharp objects over Christmas. I disagree with the stay away from sharp objects bit. I think we should all chip in for some for him. It's gonna happen sooner or later, it may as well be sooner.

Sickening, negative dross. I think benji's reputation precedes him sometimes, which is understandable because he has said some rubbish in the past but on this occasion I don't think he's said anything out of place. Yes 40 points is our first target (the sooner we hit it the better so we can push on to our 2nd target of 55 points), and yes the captain did indeed say as much in an interview. He also mentions that if we can pick up points against our immediate rivals in the comming fixtures then we will be fine and if not then maybe we won't which is also true.

Yes, Ryan did he say it, but he also spoke before that of bettering last season's 54 points total. Biscuit is talking about 40 points being the target total for the season and claiming that Ryan agrees with him. He's talking garbage of course.

He has said he would be disappointed if we didn't at least equal last season. Which kind of suggests he is looking well beyond 40 points

Completely horses anus - but interesting all the same. I'm glad that you continue to voice your opinions rather than taking heed of all the neigh-sayers and barracking you get.
